The Sorcerer's New Apprentice 22: The Cadets Grow into Their New Jobs (mc musc)

Read previous part

Being in Enus’s body had gotten him to the Police Academy graduation, it also limited him to where he could go. Not being an alumnus restricted his access to just the Administration offices and the Parade grounds. He could try to transform himself into another person but he still didn’t know the layout of the Academy. Besides everyone was at the reception so that was the place to be. He met up with Lance after the graduation as planned. He had thought about taking over his body but what would he do with Enus’s body in the mean time? He needed to be in the body of Max.

“I wonder if there is a spell in the book that will let me put Enus in a dream state?” Brain said to himself. With his smart phone in hand he calls out. “Book, I need you.”

The smart phone turned into leather bound book of spells once again. The book had several listings for dream spells so he had several to choose from. As he read through them none of them was what he was looking for, then he had an idea.

“Book show me a spell to communicate with someone far away.”

The book began to turn its own pages as if it were in a wind storm and then the wind stopped. Highlighted on the page were the following incantation:

A voice be heard of mindless thought,
in endless waves from a mind now sought.
Hear me now the one I seek,
Hear my thoughts now hear me speak.
Open thy mind, let thy barriers fall,
Our thoughts are one within these walls.

Brian ditched Max as soon as the reception started and meet up with Lance. Still being in Enus’s body he was able to be magnanimous with anybody he met. But he didn’t want to give Enus a bad reputation so he would erase his victim’s memories after he was done with them. He found Lance during the reception but the new and improved Corporal had already acquired a following of admirers. Their short romp in the front office didn’t last very long. All the interruptions were annoying at best but annoyances they were. Lance couldn’t leave his post while the Commandant was in his office.

The reception after the graduation was exact place that Max didn’t want to be right now. Engaging in idle chitchat with the family member was hard for him because his mind was elsewhere but PR work had to be done. Enus was off somewhere in the crowd. What better way to learn more about the cadets than from their family?

The files that Max read earlier had pictures attached so he was able pick them out of the graduating class. It took him several minutes to find the first one. In an ordinary crowd finding a family of cops would have been easy but Max was at a police academy graduation. So Max relied on another feature, red hair. Even cut short the various shades of red hair were easy to spot.

“Excuse me. Cadet O’Hara?” I’m Sergeant Biggermen.

“Yes Sir Sergeant Sir!” Shaw snapped to attention.

“At ease cadet, Right now we are all equal.” Max patted Shawn’s shoulder. “Is this your family?”

Showing a slight case of embarrassment Shawn replies meekly. “Yes Sir. This is my father Patrick O’Hara and my three brothers Thomas, Riley and Conner.”

“Good afternoon to you Sir” Max extended a hand towards Mr. O’Hara. “What fine looking sons you have there. I can see where they get their good looks from.”

“Thank you Sergeant Biggermen. That was a great speech you gave there.” Mr. O’Hara said, in a slight Irish accent, as he accepted the handshake. “But please call me Patrick if I call you Max? I am proud of every one of my sons. The O’Hara family comes from a long line of Irish policeman. Each generation the males are expected to join the police force. Shawn here is continuing that family tradition.”

Patrick grimaced from the strong handshake from Max. The pressure of the handshake masked the surge of energy exchanged between the two guys.

“You don’t look old enough to have four sons. You must be … what in your forties?”

“Thank you for the compliment, I’m in my fifties.”

“The years have been good to you. Do you work out?”

“I do work out but not as often as I should.”

Max studied the O’Hara patriarch and thought.

If he looks this good in his fifties, I wonder what he looked like in his prime. I bet I could make his muscles were a lot bigger. His arms need to be twice as big as they are now. His shoulders and back would need to be broader and wider. His chest would have to be bigger with pecs so big he would have lean forward to see his feet. His waist, void of any fat, would be a cut eight pack. His legs would be pillars of strength with mighty quads, hams and calves.

All through Max’s assessment of Patrick’s body changed. The retired Irish policeman’s dress uniform was reaching its limit. Bulging muscles strained the seams of the tight material. Max released his grip on Patrick’s hand. In a bold move he takes a few steps closer. In a low tone Max spoke into Patrick’s ear.

“With a body like this you must be big everywhere.” Max reaches down and grabs Patrick’s crotch. “Oh Yes. You are big but everyone could stand to be a little bigger.”

Under Max’s hand the bulge began to grow bigger. The bulge elongated down one leg a few inches. Max gave it a good squeeze and it grew longer and harder. “With equipment like this you could pass off your good genetics to all your off-springs. They would all grow big and strong like you.”

“I am very proud of all my sons Max. Thomas is the top detective in precinct 24.” As Patrick touched shoulders of his first born the transformation began. The transformation of Thomas went into auto pilot as Patrick went to his next son.

Patrick’s stance took on a subtle change. He now stood taller and more assertive. “Riley here is the marksmen of the family. He is the top shooter on the city’s SWAT team.” As soon as Patrick pats his son on the back Riley’s transformation starts. Just like his older brother the changes take on a life of their own as his body grows larger.

“Conner here is the smart one.” Patrick gives his son a fatherly one arm hug. “He runs the city’s CSI department.” Conner’s body grew like his other two brothers. Each of them reaches their full size in a matter of moments. None of them were aware that their bodies had changed.

“Shawn here is the baby of the family.” Patrick ruffs up the hair on his youngest son. “He has been a motorcycle rider since he was old enough to ride one. He could out ride kids twice his age any day of the week. He would make a fine motorcycle officer on any police force.” Shawn was the last to be touched by his father but by no means was he denied any genetic upgrade. His body quickly grew to its new size.

All the uniforms of the O’Hara family were straining to keep their occupants covered. Muscles bulged under skintight material. As if by some unseen force the uniforms all began to change. All the gapping seams pulled themselves together. The coats and dress shirts reformed into a more tailored look with broad shoulders and slim waists. Their dress pants hugged their thighs like a second skin. Leaving no room for the imagination of what lie underneath.

Max was totally aware of what the family of males had just gone through. Before him now stood the very muscular widower Patrick O’Hara and his four very large sons. The smallest one, Shawn, stood six feet tall with two hundred and fifty pounds of muscle

“Shawn will make an excellent law enforcement officer, Patrick. With a little more OJT he will make a fine addition to the De Soto County police department.” Max said to the father. “If you will excuse me I need meet the other rookies.”

“Sure Max not a problem. Maybe we can meet again before you go?”

“I would like that.” Max went back to his fact-finding mission. He had three other trainees to find.

There were several hundred cadets in uniform that Max had to search through. There was very little difference between the graduating class and the under classmen which complicated Max’s search. Max had to rely on the pictures from the personnel records to find the cadets he was looking for, fortunately being on stage during the graduation Max was able to get a close look at all of his cadets. As luck would have it Max found another one in the crowd. The tall good looking cadet was the easiest one to find.

Standing a good twelve inches taller than the rest of the crowd Zachary Paris was an easy find. Zachary, speaking in French, was in a deep conversation with a small group of people. Max didn’t know any other language other than English so he didn’t know what they were talking about. He stood by patiently waiting for a break in the conversation. After a few minutes the conversation didn’t sound like it was going to end soon so Max decided to interrupt as politely as he could.

Max tapped one of the French-speaking gentlemen dressed in the cadet dress uniform. “Excuse me gentlemen for interrupting. I’m looking for Cadet Zachary Paris. Do any of you know where I can find him?”

With a tone of defiance one of the guys in the small group spoke up. “That would be me sir, and you are?”

Wanting to have some fun with the cadet Max stepped within a few inches away from the cadet. He pauses for a few second and looks the cadet squarely in the eyes. With his best Drill Sergeant impression he replies. “I am your worst nightmare ... ROOKIE! The past four years here will seem like a Sunday social when I’m though with you. Is there anything else you would like to say mama’s boy?”

The cadet snaps to attention immediately and said “YES SIR! I mean NO SIR!

“Well I do you worthless piece of humanity …” Max takes a half of a step backwards. He reaches for the cadet’s hand. Before the cadet can jerk his hand away Max clamps down hard. Still looking the cadet straight in the eye, he begins to grin. “Welcome to the De Soto County Police Force.”

Dumbfounded and bewildered the cadet just stands there letting Max do all the work.

“Everyone around here was right, you are easy.” Max said with a smile.

“Excuse me?”

“You ARE an easy going target for practical jokes. I was also told that you have a good sense of humor.” Max grabs Cadet Zachary Paris by the shoulders. “We need someone with that quality at De Soto County. You look like a fit young man.”

“Thank You?”

“But you are way too skinny. What are you 175, 180?”

“At my last physical I was 179 pounds.”

“That is way too light for your present height. You need add some pounds to your weight. I have a workout routine that will put some meat on your bones.”

“But I don’t want to be too big.”

“Believe me you will feel differently when you are bigger. We can build up these shoulders, thicken your back and give you a more pronounced profile with a thick pecs instead of this flat thing you call a chest.” As Max explores the tall cadet’s upper body each part that he look at starts to grow larger.

Zachary’s friends stood by and observed the transformation but were oblivious the changes as if they were in a hypnotic trance.

“Of course what kind of upper body strength would you have if you didn’t have arms that aren’t big? We will need to add muscle to these scrawny things.” Max grabbed one of Zach’s arms. He looked at Zach’s face as he gave cadet’s arm a gentle but ever increasing firm squeeze. Zach tried not to show it but the look of distress appeared on his face. The look of distress changed to one of pleasure while his arms expand in size. The skin stretched tight over the biceps and triceps, as they grew bigger. Max’s hand was forced opened on Zach’s arm. The dress academy shirt worn by the cadet strained to contain the growing body.

The growth didn’t stop with the arms. While the top became skintight the bottom of the shirt stayed loose. If Max could have seen under the shirt he would have seen Zach’s mid section turn into a rock hard eight pack.

“According to your records you were on the track and field team in high school. You will need that expertise when it comes to catching an escaping felon. Stronger legs will increase your endurance. We can build up your legs into great pillars of strength.”

Zach’s growing legs forced the material in his pants to its limit. Quads and hams grew bigger increasing the circumference of the upper leg to a larger size. Their sheer size forced Zach to shift his feet to wider position. His calf muscles doubled in size as well completing the set of perfect muscular legs.

“Yes you will be a fine addition to the De Soto County police force.” Max looks at the new and improved cadet.

For everyone that witnessed the transformation reality had changed forever. Before them stood a muscle giant named Zachary Paris. His size rivaled that of his new friend Max Biggermen. At six foot four and three hundred pounds he was now the biggest cadet to graduate from the academy.

Francisco Vinchenso was talking with his parents at the buffet table. All of his life the family conversation seemed to center around a table of food.

“Mario, you have got to try these little sausages, they are to die for.” Maria said in a heavy Bronx accent as she put a handful of sausages on her husband’s plate. “Frankie, aren’t they feeding you boys enough. Are you on another one of your diets again? Here eat this.”

“Ma! My name is Frank. I’m twenty-five-years-old, and I know how to feed myself.” Frank brushed her hand away

“Maria, leave the boy alone.” Mario said as he continued to eat. “You are embarrassing the boy.”

“Excuse me. I’m looking for the Vinchenso family?” A strange man interrupted the family conversation.

“That would be us, Frank spoke up. Weren’t you one of the speakers at today’s graduation?”

“Yes I was. My name is Sergeant Maxwell Biggermen.” Max extended a hand to Mario.

Maria walked up to Max. “My goodness! You are a big one.” Maria, looking at him from head to toe, gave Max the once over. “You look bigger close up than on stage. My Mario was a good-looking fellow back in the day.”

“Oh really?” Max inquired.

“Maria! Leave the Sergeant alone.” Mario said looking up into the face of Max accepting the larger man’s gesture. “That was a fine speech you gave, very inspiring.”

“Thank you.” Max gave Mario’s hand a good hard squeeze. “Were you into sports back in the day?”

“I was on the 12th precinct’s bowling team. I had to be to in good shape to stay on the police force. Shortly after Frank graduated from high school I picked up a bad lung ailment. I moved my family here to Florida for my health.” Mario said patted his stomach.” My lung ailment didn’t affect my appetite, as you can see my wife is a good cook.”

“With a proper diet plan you could slim back down in no time.” Max took his hand and lightly touched Mario’s midsection. “We could burn off all that fat and leave nothing but muscle behind.”

Mario’s shirt began to fit a little less tight as he lost a few belt sizes. If he hadn’t been wearing suspenders his pants would have fallen off.

“We can build up that chest and back of yours to where they were when you were younger. With the help of a good trainer you could increase your endurance and eliminate that lung problem of yours.”

Mario’s body continued to transform. His age stayed the same, but his body became younger looking. He retained the gray that he got over the years, but everything else looked like it belonged to a man in his late twenties. The wheezing that he had been doing began to go away. With each breath he took his chest became bigger and wider stretching his shirt tighter.

“You know Max, my son here has the same problem that I had when it comes to eating. He can’t seem to lose the weight. He would make a great police officer if he weren’t so overweight.”

Max turned towards the cadet. “And this is Francisco right?”

“Yes sir.” Frank took Max’s hand. “But I prefer to be called Frank.”

“I’ve seen so many new faces today that I’m having a hard time remembering who’s who. Besides when I meet the families I find out more about the cadets than any interview can reveal.”

The look of dread appeared on Frank’s face. His family can be an embarrassment sometimes. His mother was constantly nagging him about why he hasn’t married yet. His father was always telling stories about his time on the NYPD.

“Your father doesn’t seem to have a fat problem like you do. You both eat the same foods don’t you?”

“Yes sir we do, but I can’t seem slim down.”

“Well let’s see what I have to work with.” Max walked around Frank. “The height is a little on the short side, but we can’t change that. The body mass is OK, but the body fat looks like it’s too high ... that we can change with some exercise and a good diet. We can take off that spare tire you have there and replace it with a set of six-wheeler abs. This flabby chest of yours can be firmed up.”

As Max inspected Frank’s body from top to bottom. He mentioned several key spots for improvements and these spots began to change on their own. By the time Max completed the inspection Frank had been transformed into a short but well built cadet. The dress uniform he wore hung from his body loosely in many places and tight in only a few. The now muscular cadet had to hold up his pants to keep them from falling off his body.

“The laundry must have gotten my dress uniform mixed up again.” Frank asked. “Vinnie Franks needs to go on a diet if he is this big.”

“Don’t worry about it for now.” Max pulled on the bottom front Frank’s shirt. “I’ll see that Vinnie is set up with the proper diet plan.”

“Dude! There is a killer storm out in the gulf kicking up some monster waves.” The twenty-something male looked out of place in a suit and tie. His sun bleached hair was tied back into a short pony tail.

“Tommy, ya know I can’t right now even if I wanted to.” The cadet spoke up just loud enough for his two friends to hear. “I got my new assignment today. It’s at the police force in De Soto County. I never heard of De Soto County. I don’t even know where it is. It’s probably so landlocked that the closest thing to a wave there is someone’s haircut.”

“Man, that’s so bogus. How can you stand to wear these monkey suits dude?” Bennie loosened his tie. “Hey man, can I have your board since you aren’t gonna use it anymore?”

“No Bennie you can’t have it, but you can hold it for me until I get settled in at my new place.”

“Righteous dude!” Bennie gave Thomas a high five.

“Who’s that dude over there?” Eric asked.

“Isn’t that one of the dudes who spoke at the graduation?” Bennie asked

“Can’t tell from here with his back turned.”Thomas replied.

“Man! Look how big his back is!” Bennie said

“It looks like he’s looking for someone.” Eric replied.

“I sure don’t want to get someone that big mad at me.” Bennie told his buddy

“DUDE! He’s walking this way.” Eric pointed towards the stranger.

“Oh man, don’t point at him. What did we do now?” Thomas said to Eric pulling his friends hand down.

The closer the stranger got, the bigger he looked. By the time he reached Thomas, Ben and Eric, the guys could see that he was a good six feet if not taller. The stranger was twice as wide as a normal person.

Looking directly at Eric, the stranger asked. “Are you Eric Michaelson?”

Looking up into the face of the huge stranger Eric stuttered a reply. “Y-y-y-yes s-s-sir.”

“I’ve been looking all over for you.”

“M-m-m-me s-s-s-sir?”

“We need to talk about your future.”

The stranger could see that the cadet was a little nervous. Eric was starting to look a little flush. Wanting to have a little fun, the stranger decided to play along with the situation.

“Cadet you look like you are expectin me to beat the livin daylight out of ya.” The stranger bends forward enough to look the cadet straight in the face. “I wasn’t gonna do it today in front of all these witnesses but ya know what? There’s always tomorrow.”

The look of relief comes across Eric’s face until he hears the words “There’s always tomorrow”. The next thing that happened completely surprised Eric. The serious look on the strangers changed to a smile.

“My goodness. Aren’t we the serious one?”

“I … Don’t … You?” Still stunned Eric ties to compose his words into a more coherent sentence. “Why are you after me?”

“My name is Sergeant Maxwell Biggermen, and I’m going to be your new boss.”

“You’re my new boss? You look like you’re in your mid twenties.”

“Someone that looks the same age as you can’t be your boss?” Max steps closer to Eric.

“Yes. I mean no. Your body is way bigger than any twenty five year old that I know.”

“Once I get you back to De Soto County you’ll see how big a twenty-five-year-old can be. My county has the best fitness program in the state. We can build you up in no time flat ...”

“But I don’t want to get big.”

“Boy, are you disrespectin your superior? Look at you, you aint nothin” but skin and bone. You’re so skinny a good sneeze would knock you over. You call these arms? My granny has bigger arms than you. They need to be big enough to take on any criminal in a good scrap. Your chest is so flat if you turned sideways you would disappear. Those things you call legs are so thin you couldn’t out run a tricycle. You got to be able to catch a fleeing felon on foot ... “

Eric just stood there while his large superior critiqued his body. He worked hard to keep his body slim for surfing. He discovered surfing one day in his early teens on a family outing to the beach. He caught the surfing bug on that day. When he was able to go to the beach on his own he was there every weekend. On one weekend he ventured a bit farther down the coastline than normal. He happened across an outdoor workout area. In his young mind overly muscular bodies repulsed him. At the time he thought to himself that those guys were so narcissistic. How could they parade around in such tight clothing? But now the more he thinks about they didn’t look that bad. He had just wished that he had gotten up the courage to get closer. The more he thought about them the better they looked. He wished that he could make his body that big. He could have had the biggest body on the beach if he had started sooner. He would wear clothing so tight that you could see every muscle separation underneath. Why would anyone want to be a surfer? What kind of a life would that be? If you were a bodybuilder you would everyone admiring your body. If you happened to be a police officer as well as a bodybuilder you would be the best crime deterrent.

“Yes Sir! You will make a nice addition to the DE Soto County police force.” Max while shaking Eric’s hand pulled him closer. “But you might want to change into something dryer. That wet crotch stands out like a clown at a funeral.”

Eric’s transformation turned him into a two hundred and ninety-five pound muscleman. His blond crew cut was high and tight. His blond five-o-clock was almost invisible. The top two buttons of his dress blues were undone. Eric didn’t wear the customary white crew neck t-shirt but opted for a low swooping tank top that exposed his hairless chest. The skintight pants strained to contain his huge legs. The bulge that ran down one leg gave notice to everyone exactly what he was backing.

Benny and Tommy were loyal friends to their muscleman protector. They even went as far as to get jobs at the academy to be close to their friend. They are even moving to De Soto County to be close to their friend.

After meeting with all the new rookies at the reception Max snuck off back to the Administration office. There Sam was waiting for him.

“Now for some more of that alone time…” Sam walked up to Max, taking off his friend’s coat. “Max. How did you get so big?”

“A lot of hard work and the right training partner. Ya know I could show you a few things to get you a bigger body as well.”

“That would be great. I could sure use a hand on getting bigger.”

“All right now, let’s see what I have to work with.” Max reached over and unbuttoned Sam’s coat and the shirt underneath.

“Well? What do you think? Is there any hope for me?”

“We will have to build up this chest of yours. These shoulders will have to be worked on as well. I do like the abs you have there but they could use a little tweaking. We need to tighten them up a bit. Now for the bottom half, do you mind me undoing your belt … Good, I didn’t think so… Nice legs you have here Sammy boy… Quads are good… Calves are good as well … Nice cuts … separations are good but they could use more muscle on them.”

As Max was giving Sam’s body the once over the changes he suggested were taking place. Sam didn’t notice the ongoing changes but Max did.

“Having all that muscle doesn’t make you man.” Max reached down and grabbed a hand full of Sam’s package. “You are the biggest teacher here at the Academy. Your fitness routines taught me a lot and now I’m going to show what else I’ve learned over the last few years. But before I do we need to do one thing first.”

Max went and opened the office door. He changed the “WELCOME” sign to “MEETING IN PROGRESS”.

“Now that should give us some time alone. Max said as he unbuttoned his shirt.”
