an act of kindness, betrayed
a promise made,
“I’ll stay with you till the end”

The next day, after school, Jack took Corey after to some guys he knew at a local university clinic. They ran all kinds of exams on Corey, including drug testing and all sorts of CAT scan, searching every inch of Corey’s body in order to unravel the mystery behind him.

For two whole weeks Jack took Corey to see several doctors, which brought the former “Toothpick’ and the coach much closer. Under Tanner’s supervision, Corey started weightlifting, at first, nothing very hard because the coach didn’t want to stress the teenager’s organism before he made sure everything was alright with his organism, just something to help him relax and release all that power accumulated in his enormous muscles.

Corey, on his side, was also enjoying Coach Tanner’s special attention very much. Soon, he was more than just some teacher, and became friends with the teenager, they didn’t just talk about Corey’s condition and transformation, but mostly about normal life as well Jack seemed to be interested about his thoughts and opinions about several subjects, like they were two normal friends and not Coach and pupil.

Tanner even gave some of his own clothing to Corey, since the kid had overgrown his entire wardrobe and his foster parents couldn’t afford buying him as many clothes as he now needed. Jack made sure he gave the kid some big sized sweatpants and sweatshirts, along with his own bodybuilding training clothes, and he had to admit they looked much better on Zimmerman than on himself. It was really nice to see Corey dressing in clothes that although still tight around his bulging muscles didn’t rip every time the kid scratched the back of his head or something alike. Plus, Jack really liked that Corey now wore more styled clothes, he actually seem to feel more secure about himself, he was still the nerd by the inside but his “fashion” statement had changed drastically just as his body.

Meanwhile, Jack started working out with Corey so he could control his strength better.

It was really weird working out with a fifteen year old who had 26" guns and 54" chest, and a micro 26" waist. Jack noticed that Corey’s pecs and guns looked incredibly huge and pumped all day long. Also, Jack was amazed by Corey’s eating habits. No matter how much junk food that kid devoured, his feasting was the kid never showed any sign of fat layer on his massive body, plus, his stomach was just as flat and ripped as ever. Even so, Jack was afraid something might happen to Corey, so he decided to put him in a strict protein and low carb diet. This would make Corey’s muscles grow even bigger, but his health came first.

“But Coach, can’t I have at least one burger a week?” Corey complained after he finished his strength control training. They were now sitting in Jack’s office, where he wrote out that week’s menu for Corey.

“Do you want to have a heart attack?” Jack asked heartlessly. “No more junk food. Period.”

“Aww, but Coach…” Corey whined.

“No buts.” Jack replied. “Instead of eating so much, maybe you should spend more time in your clubs.”

“I quit them all last month Coach.” Corey said with extreme simplicity.

“You quit them? All of them?” That fact took Jack by surprise. “Why? I thought you liked being in your clubs.”

“I do coach.” Corey responded. “It’s just…I didn’t really know how to control my strength then. I kept on breaking lab equipment and chess pieces on accident, and on the debate team whenever I say something no one wants to argue with me. They’re all afraid that I might hurt them if they try saying against what I think.” – Corey felt a bit embarrassed about this last fact, he was once being to be respected solely by his intellectual strength and strictly among the academicals, but lately people were paying much more attention to his bugling muscles, much more than to his brilliant ideas.

“I can understand that.” Jack laughed. “It’d be hard telling a guy as big and scary as you that he’s wrong.” Jack then realized what he just said. “Er, sorry, I didn’t mean it that way.” Jack apologized.

“It’s alright,” Corey sighed. “I’m used to it by now. Anyways, I decided it would be best if I withdrew from all of my clubs, I don’t want to accidentally hurt anyone of my schoolmates.”

“But you’ve improved on your control a lot in the past few days.” Jack pointed out. “So now you can join your chess and science clubs again.”

Corey shook his head. “No, I don’t think it’ll be the same.” Corey sighed, and then brightened up. “And besides, I get to spend more time with my all time favorite Coach.” Jack really felt complimented by such sincere display of friendship, he was used to bond with his students, but maybe with Corey it was special, given the circumstances in which they’ve met for two very different times, back then as “Toothpick” and nowadays as “Zimmer MAN!”, like the kids were calling the strongest athlete in school, Jack couldn’t deny the fact that he was growing fond of that “mega sized geek” – like Corey liked to joke about himself.

Zimmer MAN’s progresses were simply amazing, they really never ceased to impress Jack each new day. Corey not only proved to be strongest kid in the school, but easily one of the strongest men in the world! Even though the principal tried many times to convince him to enroll Corey as a part of the school’s weightlifting team, Tanner always said that he would only do such thing after the tests results were out, in order to keep the kid away from any harmful stress, Jack simply kept the astounding records Corey broke each new day to his own person, he started training with Corey after all the students were sent home, enjoying the opportunity to get more aquatinted with such extraordinary boy.

Perhaps, that bonding between them made the awaiting time for the exams’ results seem less torturing, nonetheless, Jack realized that the day where they were supposed to come back to get the results passed and the university never phoned back, so Jack just called his contacts and asked for information, and he was surprisingly told that there was some problems with the machinery so they were checking the results. Jack preferred to keep this fact from Corey in order to spare him from early preoccupations, even though he couldn’t help but getting worried himself about the teenager’s condition.

Another week passed by, but Corey seemed to forget about the eventuality of “becoming a monster” like he desperately told him back at the burger shop. Truth was that, apparently, Corey was adjusting very well to his new condition – he was really getting along with the other athletes, as well as slowly returning to his former activities. Almost everyday he came after the last class, Corey headed straightly Jack’s office where he waited doing his homework until the “normal” athletes were gone, so he could finally train alone wit Coach Tanner.

It actually took a while, but Jack finally realized what Corey had been slowly doing to his office, not only he had finally alphabetized all the files and records Jack kept in his “personal system”, which only was an excuse for keeping dozens of shoebox papers piled all over his office, but Corey also installed the computer, the printer, gathered the whole training material and kept it organized at the stock room. The board was fixed and repainted, and even the carpet had been vacuumed.

“Why did you do this, Corey?” – Tanner asked getting back from his training session, feeling a lot embarrassed about entering in “that” room all dirty and sweat.

“Well, coach, I didn’t have anything to do after I finished my homework, so I did a little each day, but you took almost the whole week to notice huh?” – Corey smiled at him. “At least now when you measure my stats you won’t spend lots of times looking for your measuring tape inside those old boxes!” – His laughter was really getting deeper and masculine.

Before Jack could reply to that the phone next to his hand rings. “Hello?” Jack answers when he picks up the receiver. This time this was not his old college roommate who spoke to him but apparently some secretary, Jack listened patiently as the polite lady gave him the message.

“Yes, that’s alright. We’ll be there.” Jack set the phone down turning to Corey -“It was from the university, they want us to come down to the institute tomorrow afternoon for some more testing.” The coach noticed as Corey’s worried expression returned to his face

“How much more do I have to go through?” Corey asked.

"It's alright Corey; it's just going to be another test." Jack said ruffling Corey's hair. They were sitting in his newly organized office, but suddenly the teenager didn’t seem so excited about his life anymore "You're okay; they just want to know what's causing all of this, that's all."

“Do they have to poke and prod me so much?” Corey asked surprisingly in a very childish tone. “They keep touching me with their hands and cold metal objects. There was even some guy who touched my…my…” Corey looked down at his crotch and his face went red.

“Well, they ARE professional doctors…” Jack said smiling at Corey’s embarrassment. Usually the jocks at school used every chance to show off their stuff in the showers, but it was refreshing to have a modest stud for once.

Corey just looked very worried all the same. "Coach, I am not a circus freak.” He said. “I don't want to be studied like I’m the last dodo bird" He stood up looking at Jack’s training schedule posted on the wall.

"Besides, thanks to you things are getting even worse!"

“What?” Jack’s eyes widened with surprise.

Corey looked over at Jack, frowning with sudden anger. Then he proceeded over to the scales in Jack’s office, and stepped on it. Since it had been only three weeks the first and last time that Jack took Corey’s measurements, he wasn’t just used to make new measurements in such short period, but Corey would prove him wrong again.

Coach Tanner went over to him and read the number. “304 pounds.” Jack said amazed. That was a gain of over 31 pounds in a course of nearly three weeks! He had noticed that Corey was a little bigger before, but 31 pounds? “Wow.” Jack finally exclaimed.

“Wow?” Corey repeated. “Wow? I’m getting bigger and much faster because of your training and diet, and all you can say is ‘WOW’!? Coach, just what the hell am I!? Are they going to continue to observe me like I’m some sort of freak!? Please, Coach, don’t let them do that to me!”

“Hey, I’m sorry!” Jack apologized quickly. “I’m sorry, I really am.” Tanner continued more calmly. “I didn’t really think this would happen, and I was only trying to help. You said so yourself that you needed to learn how to control your strength, and I helped you with the only way I knew how.”

“Well…” Now that Corey thought about it, he was having much better control then before. In fact, He hasn’t broken anything in awhile, and it was all thanks to Jack’s training. “I…you’re right Coach, I’m sorry I said that.”

Jack shook his head. “No, I’m still at fault. I knew that the diet and exercise might make you even bigger, but I still made you go through it, even when you didn’t want to. I should have found another way, but I was so worried about your health that I didn’t really think it through.”

“Since you are already at the scale, don’t you think it’s better if we just take the rest of your measurements as well?” Jack asked already getting his measuring tape which had been kept easily locatable hanging on the scale’s controls because of Corey’s smart organization.

“Sure, Coach, if doesn’t bother you” – Corey said as they checked the new readings on Corey’s muscles. His chest today measured 55 inches and ¾ while his legs grew to whooping 33 full inches. If his arms once equaled his waist size, now the situation changed – Corey’s slim waist remained at 26 inches but his abnormally huge arms read amazingly 29 and a half inches!”

“How come I never noticed you got that much bigger so fast Corey? I really need to be more aware of your needs!” – Jack said as he took notes on his records.

Corey looked at Jack thoughtfully. “Do you…do you really care about me that much?” He asked very timidly.

“Of course I do.” Jack said reaching up and ruffling Corey’s hair again. “You may be one of my students, but you’re like a little brother to me.”

“Oh.” Corey says. Somehow he looked a bit disappointed. He avoided looking at Jack for a little while. “Coach,” He finally said.

“Yes Corey?” Jack asked.

“I…er…” Corey’s face flushed. “I just wanted to say how grateful I am that you’re here with me. I don’t know how I would do this without you around. I…I know this is kinda childish, but I feel a lot braver when I’m with you. But, you must have a lot of other stuff to do, and I don’t want to be a burden so-“

Jack places his finger on Corey’s lips, cutting him off. “Like I said, I’ll be there with you, Corey.” Jack replied smiling. “I’m going to be here by your side until the end, alright?”

Corey looked much moved by this. “Th-thank you Coach.” He reached out to give Jack a hug, but then he just gave up, and Jack was forced to hug that massive teenager by himself – “It’s not a shame to need some support, Corey! We all get scared, but being brave is actually doing something that you are afraid to do”. Jack listened to Corey’s relieving exhale, the powerful teenager hugged him back – ‘Thanks Coach Tanner!” he said almost whispering.

When the crucial day finally came, Jack parked at Corey’s house precisely at 8 am, the oversized teenager wore a navy blue under armor shit and gray spandex pants Jack had given him, and his bulging muscles looked even bigger and more powerful today. Corey’s thick glasses were the only reminiscence of the boy formerly as “Toothpick”

Jack got out of the car and greeted the Applebees, who were very nice and thankful to Coach Tanner for helping them out with “their problem”, but when Jack asked Corey’s foster parents if they wouldn’t wish to go along with their son as well, they politely declined.

From what Corey had told him, Jack figured that the Applebees were actually grateful that Corey was getting the attention he needed, but they were, nonetheless, still afraid of their suddenly humongous foster son. Corey had been right about his parents’ feelings toward him all along and such realization provoked a deep sadness in Jack, because the Coach believed that the Applebees, as Corey’s parents, should always support him, for better or worse;

Because he got to know Zimmerman much better over these past weeks, Tanner also knew that his massive student would not keep any heart feelings about that tragic fact, Corey just entered Jack’s car with his innocent face, the same nervous smile framed in his thin lips. At least this boy could count on Jack, and the coach felt his responsibility increasing, he was there to support the kid no matter how bad things have gone with his exams.

Once they got to the University clinic, Jack noticed that they were being anxiously awaited; a whole party of very important looking doctors gathered around Corey and Jack as they escorted them to another part of the campus, where they conducted medical experiments with human volunteers.

“Alright Mr. Zimmerman, we’ll be taking a blood sample today.” One of the doctors approached Corey carrying a silver tray withdraws several items.

“B-b-blood?” Corey’s eyes widened greatly. “Can’t you take another CAT scan instead or something?”

“Don’t worry, it won’t hurt a bit.” The doctor tried to persuade the immense teenager as he tore a packet, pulling out an alcohol swab. “Now, give me your arm.”

However Corey pulled back. Holding his thick arms close to his massive body, the kid shook them violently easily getting away of any possible grapple attempt. Anyone could notice stamped in his face the look of absolute panic.

“P-please, I’m begging you; I’ll do anything you want me to! I’ll let you poke at me! I’ll pee in a cup! I’ll even let that doctor play with my privates! Just please, don’t make me go through that!”

“Corey?” Jack moved over to the big kid placing a hand on that nearly 30 inches around bulging bicep. What’s wrong?”

Corey shook his head. “I…I can’t do it coach! I just can’t!” – he repeated over and over.

Jack frowned. “Corey…are you afraid of needles?”

Corey shook his head, but the tightness on his closed eyes showed Jack that he was in the right track.

“…Blood?” Jack asks. “You’re afraid of blood?”

Corey nodded. “I…I’m sorry, Coach, but I’m a Hemophobic.” Corey said apologetically. “Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve been terrified at the sight of blood.” Corey looked fearfully at the needle as if it was ten times bigger then it really was. “I…I just can’t do it!”

“It’s okay Corey, I’m here for you.” Jack says as he rubbed Corey’s enormous arm. “How about if you look away? It might no be as bad if you don’t see it.”

Corey looked into Jack’s eyes. Jack could see the naked fear in them, but he could also see gratitude and trust. “A-alright.” He said as he concentrated all of his attention on Jack and made it a point to not look at his left arm, where the doctor was already disinfecting a spot at his enormous arm. Since Corey was so muscular and had little body fat, veins were completely visible on those muscles, so the doctor could locate on very easily.

The doctor then inserted the needle and Corey winced from the small sting.

Unconsciously, the panicked teenager flexed his muscles really hard, causing his arm to peak over 32” around, so ripped and veined that both Jack and the doctor watched in disbelief as the steel needle simply bent. It didn’t simply break like it would be expected, but Corey’s muscles got so hard that the needle couldn’t pierce through his muscular tissue. The doctor tried once again, with the same result, looking at Jack’s astonished face.

“Erm… Corey, try to relax as much as you can, if you flex too hard the needle doctor can’t do his job right, just look at me and relax, I’m not letting anyone hurt you, brother, you know that!” – Jack held Corey’s hand and pressed it around Corey’s fingers. Corey just obliged and tried to relax; the doctor grabbed another syringe and tried to work as smoothly as he could. Soon, dark red blood flowed easily into the vial until the doctor decided it was enough and removed the vial and needle from Corey.

“I’m going to take this down to the lab now.” The doctor said as he headed towards the door. “You two wait in here until I return.”

Jack nods in acknowledgement as the doctor leaves, and then turned his attention back to Corey, who was still looking deeply at him.

“Is it gone yet?” Corey asked with still afraid to look at his side.

“It’s gone, kid.” Jack chuckles and ruffles Corey’s hair again. “But how come you’ve never told me this before?”

“I…” Corey looked away. “I didn’t know how to tell you, Coach. I guess…I was kinda embarrassed of it. What kind of guy is afraid of a little blood, after all?”

“Hey, don’t sweat it.” Jack said. “A lot of people are afraid of different things, some big, some small. And I know some people who faint at the sight of blood too, so you’re not alone. Hey, even my little brother used to go queasy at the sight of blood.”

“You have a little brother?” Corey asks, surprised.

Jack chuckled. “Yeah, we’re four years apart, me and my bro. When we were kids we were very close, but our parents got divorced. I lived with my Dad, and he stayed with my mom. We rarely got to see each other after that, and before I knew it we were both grown up.” Jack sighed a bit regrettably. “Not only did we grow up, we grew apart as well. I became a gym teacher, and he became a top notch lawyer. We still love each other though, and we try to keep in touch.” Jack looks over Corey thoughtfully, then he bursts out laughing.

Corey was taken aback. “W-what is it Coach?”

“Now that I think about it, you’re just like my brother when we were kids.” Jack continues to laugh. “Only you’re like a super-sized version. Hahahaha!”

Corey blushed. “Thanks a lot, I think.”

“Oh, I’m sorry Corey,” Jack said, calming down. “But you do remind me of my bro. Now that I think about it, you’re like a second brother to me now.”

Corey’s face lit up. “I…I am?”

Jack smiled. “Of course I do.” When Jack heard a sob, he looks at Corey and finds his eyes watering.

Corey chokes, fighting back the tears. “S-sorry Coach.” He said quickly. “I-it’s just…I never had a real family before.”

“Huh? But what about your foster parents?”

“Oh, they’re nice and all, but it’s just not the same.” Corey wiped his eyes with the back of his hand. “I lost my parents in a car accident when I was just a baby. I change between foster homes many times, so I haven’t really learn to grow close to someone, but…” Corey looks up at Jack. “Thanks Coach.”

“No problem kid.” Jack flashed him a small smile.

A few moments later, another set of lab-coated men entered the room, taking Corey and Tanner into another room, this time a very modern and well equipped gymnasium. Since Corey’s case was the most impressive they have ever seen, the Medical Department of that university invited Corey to realize a whole new bunch of physical tests, this time they took their time and set in this more advanced part of that institution. The university researchers adjusted the gym to respond to Corey's physical stats and special conditions

Once again, Corey excelled in each task they asked him to perform – he lifted different combinations of cargoes for many assorted repetition amounts, but no matter how much they tried to change the challenge, they never seemed to reach a point where Corey actually felt that he was really struggling to complete what he was told to do.

Although Jack already knew Corey was much stronger than the challenges the doctors presented him, he felt it was better to keep his mouth shut about Corey’s real strength standards, at least for the time being.

However, after each new round Corey proved to be a lot stronger than the doctors anticipated, they just decided to let Corey take a last round at the state-of-the-art gym. Jack couldn’t tell exactly what happened but Corey seemed to get tired about all that testing stuff so he just decided to show them what he could actually do. And that would be running over 50 mph for 30 minutes, followed by the most intense lifting session those doctors would ever witness in their lives.

Thanks to his incredibly muscular thickness and strength his amazing oxygen distribution, and the latest tips Jack had been giving him over these past days, Corey managed to lift enormous amount of weights for incredibly numerous repetitions, increasing the cargo each time the kid finished a set, attesting that he wasn’t struggling nor stressing to handle his current weight, at some point they were finally forced to drop the tests after Corey lifted a total of 5 ton weight, exchanging his arms at 300 times; the stunned scientists suddenly realized that even though that was a special test environment, the 15 year old massive blond kid had overgrown the challenge it could possibly offer him.

The men congratulated Corey on his heroic achievements and finally let him go, but they weren’t exactly free to go back home yet. Apparently the blood tests were about to come out, so they were taken to another room, this time a very big room with classic furniture and rich decoration. Manny hours passed on inside that luxurious doctor’s office, but Jack tried to smooth the uncomfortable sensation to Corey, talking amenities to him. Amazingly although they were 12 years apart, living completely different life styles, communication between them flowed really easily, it truly felt like they were related because each one already knew how the other would react to a certain joke or provocation, so time passed really fast while they talked between each other lightly.

It was near sunset when Corey starts to become distracted and constantly looks over at the window. At first Jack thinks it is nothing, but after a few minutes had past Jack becomes concerned about Corey’s unrest.

“Corey, is something wrong?” Jack asked trying to calm down the teenager.

Corey jerked his gaze from the window and back towards Jack. “Ah, no, it’s nothing. It’s just that I’ve been hearing a helicopter for quite some time, and I was wondering what was going on.”

“A helicopter?” Jack frowned. He listens intently, but tried really hard to focus, but there was simply nothing. “Are you sure? I don’t hear any at…” Jack trailed off. Faintly, but surely, he could hear the sound of a helicopter now. Coach Tanner walked up to the window took a good look at it. There was a dark spot in the sky that was rapidly getting bigger.

“Is it really that far away?” Corey asked, surprised as he stood next to Jack.

Tanner gazed at Corey. Was Corey’s hearing that good? As they stood there, the copter was getting closer. Jack could see now that it wasn’t just a plain news copter, but a military one, equipped with artillery and everything. Jack felt a cold pit in his stomach.

“Coach, look.” Corey pointed down at the parking lot, where two big military trucks have pulled into the front of the institution. “Coach, what’s going on? Why’s the military here?” There was a slight edge of fear in his voice. “I didn’t do anything bad, did I?”

“Don’t be ridiculous.” Jack humored Corey. “They don’t send the army in to arrest a bearded lady, so they can’t be here for you.” Although he said that, Jack was still doubtful of his own words.

Somehow he knew they were after Corey.

“Coach, I-I’m scared.” Corey confessed as he took a hold of Jack’s arm.

“Don’t worry Corey.” Jack comforted the enormous teenager, placing his own hand on Corey’s. “I’m here for you. I won’t let anything bad happen to you. If they try to hurt you, they’ll have to get through me first.” Jack smiled and squeezed Corey’s hand a bit.

A few moments later, the doctor returns, carrying a clipboard which he clutch tightly with excitement. Behind him is a large, solidly built man wearing an army uniform, the expression on that man was actually terrifying, he simply didn’t display any kind of emotion, and his buzz cut grey hair and pink complexion, his whole figure filled with determination and authority. Looking at the markings Jack concluded that this man appeared to be a high ranking officer.

“Mr. Tanner, you can go home now.” The doctors said. “This gentleman right here will be taking care of the rest.”

“Why? What the hell going on?” Jack demanded. “Why did you bring the army into this? What the hell are you planning to do with Corey?” Without knowing it he immediately placed himself between them and Corey, who although still a bit shorter was now much wider and muscular than his so-called “protector”. Jack knew it was s a bit pointless, but he wanted to protect Corey every way that he can.

The soldier stepped up. “Mr. Tanner, I am Corporal Stevens, we are grateful for your contribution, but now your services are no longer required. We require that you leave us alone with Corey so we may discuss matters with him.”

"I demand that you explain this to me right now!" Jack's fist clenched up, and his veins began to pop out one by one. His muscles flexed threateningly as he glared at the soldier.

"You have five seconds to tell me before I pound your face to a pulp." Jack says through clenched teeth. The mischievous grin on the military man showed he wasn’t afraid of Tanner’s threats, but since he had been already involved in the entire story, he called up the doctor and spoke something in his ears. The scientist then complied, handling some of the sheets which were attached on the clipboard for Jack and a completely immobilized by fear Corey.

It took a few minutes for Jack to decode from all the technical information, the main facts, but apparently, the first doctors who conducted the first examination on Corey were shocked at the results. After revising all their data, double checked the testing standards and proceedings accomplished, they were completely sure about the fact that no mistake had been committed; therefore they contacted the Board of Science and then they were requested to run a second battery this time using the most modern equipment they had at that facility.

For all the matters, Corey was not only absolutely healthy but he had remarkably genetic capabilities - his muscular development got affected by the onset of his puberty, something they actually failed to explain less academically, but the bottom line was that Corey was not only STRONGER but his muscles were in fact much denser than they should be, the fiber structure which composed Corey’s muscles had increased to an unbelievably 2500% of the size and thickness of an average human standards. Besides, also according to their readings, his muscle fibers showed a unique kind corpuscle, something that had never been noticed in human organism before.

They wanted to perform more tests on him on the following days, but then they were told to keep Corey in the facility until the arrival of Lieutenant Mackenzie and his troops, who would take the teenager into a classified location.

When Jack finished reading the document, his face was pale like a ghost.

“You can’t take Corey away! I won’t let it happen! I’ll call his parents, you can’t just take him!” – Jack said this time holding the kid’s powerful physique with his arms, pressing him against his back.

“I’m afraid there is little you can do Mister Tanner.” Stevens said as he walked closer to Jack and his scared protégé, their large chests nearly touching each other.

“I was sent by Pentagon, carrying with me the written authorization of young mister Zimmerman's parents giving the US army tutorship over their foster son. You had better leave because we are going to take care of Corey from now on." The army men motioned to two soldiers behind him. The two soldiers immediately grabbed Jack by his arms.

Corey suddenly lashed out, hitting the two men that were holding Jack’s arms. The army men flew across the room and crashed into the far wall, knocked out. Before these men actually hit the ground, Corey rushed up to the corporal and hit him in the stomach.

The strong built Stevens flew hit the wall harder then the other two, when he crashed to the ground he almost immediately started throwing up. Jack was shocked by this sudden attack, but he managed to push his surprise aside to run up to the doctor to tear the whole clipboard from the frighten man’s grip, he knew that whatever reason it was that got the army into this, those reports would be the answer. Out in the halls Jack could hear the shouts of many men and footsteps coming closer very swiftly. In a few minutes they were about to be surrounded and boxed in a small doctor’s office!

However, Corey already figured out a possible exit. Without saying a word, this oversized teenager grabbed Jack and wrapped his beefy arms around him; Corey lifted him up and crashed through the window…on the fifth floor!

“Oh fu…” Jack started to say as they plummeted down to what seems like certain death, but the incredible kid merely braced his leg. When Corey hit the ground carrying the enormous impact of their combined weight, the solid concrete cracked sinking to form a small crater that was two feet deep and five feet wide.

Corey looked down at Jack to check on his Coach, his face full of concern. “Are you okay Coach?”

“Y-yeah.” Jack replied without even thinking, he just couldn’t imagine why did such a nice easy going kid like Corey suddenly took such attitude, he may have been affected by the way Jack spoke to the military men – “Oh shit, this kid will get us in deep trouble if he doesn’t calm down!”

“Get the car.” Corey orders. “I’m sorry to drag you into my problems, but after that I don’t thin we’ll be treated very nicely.” The tone on Corey’s voice changed, he wasn’t talking to his coach or to his friends he was telling him what to do, Corey sounded even more authoritarian as the Corporal did.

Caught in such turmoil of events, Jack simply nodded along. He was actually about to leave when he remembered something. Standing right in the middle of the patio, there where the three trucks and the copter had been set down in the parking lot. The jeeps would give them a good chase, and the copter had an aerial advantage. The threatening weaponry on the helicopter made that cold feeling in Jack’s stomach become even colder. No doubt that the copter could quickly catch up to them in no time, and if they wanted to they could easily take them out.

Corey seems to feel it too as he look at the copter with an intent look on his face.

“I’ll take care of it. Go!”

Jack wasn’t quite sure if that was the most reasonable thing to do, but he just couldn’t deny anything Corey said to him at such point. The coach turned and sprinted to where his car was parked. He quickly unlocked it and jumped into the vehicle, turned on the engine, and backed out just in time to see Corey rip out the engine from the second jeep with his bare hands. The massive muscles on that kid seemed to make everything easier to him, he wasn’t struggling, he was just serious and focused, with a determined look in his face.

As Jack approached the chopper Corey, jumped up to the helicopter’s engines easily broke the spinning helix into pieces with his mighty arms, finding time to bend the blades downward as if they were made of clay.

After such feat of strength and resistance is complete, the powerful Corey turned around checking the area for any other possible obstacle, but this actually caused Jack to get even more shocked by noticing the expression on Corey’s face.

“Corey is smiling! Something had happened inside that boy, because he was enjoying this! Hell, he looks like he had just won the winning touchdown at a high school football game!” Jack said to himself as he drove towards his now scaring pupil.

Jack didn’t have time to recover though, because the first of the soldiers have come out of the hospital. But amazingly Corey quickly jumped between them and Jack’s car. He looked at the soldiers with such bravery, such determination and power glowing through his eyes, he just brought his big hands to his narrow hips and grinned. That boy never before had threatened a living soul, but Jack can’t deny that the look on his pupil is pure arrogance, he knew he was by far superior to those soldiers, and if they were smart enough they would let him go, or they would get a round two with the unstoppable kid.

Mesmerized, Jack watched as the soldiers backed up, calling for reinforcements over their communicators, the Corporal was actually being helped by two scientists, his gaze was actually just as perplexed as Jack’s. But despite of everyone else’s shock, Corey walked powerful over to the car, opened the door and jumped in. His sheer weight caused the car to bounce a bit wildly up and down.
