Teacher's Pet 12

Read previous part

“Brian, where’s that basil leaf I asked for?” Someone shouted.

“I’m coming!” I called as I rushed over across the room and handed off the herb.

“Where are all the pans?” Another person yelled.

“They’re drying on the racks!” I told him as I headed back towards my station. Halfway there I heard someone drop something, quickly followed by the sound of liquid splashing on the ground. Without pause I made a sharp turn and went for the mop.

After becoming completely unemployed, I started to look for a new job. However, it was very difficult for me to find someplace that was willing to take me in given my reputation and all. In the meantime at least I had my fallback option. Kevin’s boss, the head chef of the restaurant, knew and liked me well enough ever since I helped his kid turn his F in math to an A. He understood that I had a very difficult life, so he always had a place for me in the kitchen when I was between jobs. Sure throwing out garbage, mopping floors and washing dishes wasn’t glamorous, but at least the people in the kitchen were friendly and fun to be with despite all the noise, rush and chaos.

Almost as soon as I finished mopping the spill, a loud blaring honk ripped through the busy kitchen. Great, the delivery truck was finally here after being hours late. Tossing the mop back where it belonged, I went outside with Kevin two other kids who were low on the kitchen ladder to haul in the inventory.

Right away I spotted Joe Catalina, the usual guy who delivered the restaurant’s seafood products. Joe was always nice to see every time I worked there. He was tall, blonde hair, blue eyes and was well built from hauling all of those huge pieces of tuna around all day. True he didn’t have Ethan’s level of bulk, but I could tell there were some nicely formed and strong muscles underneath his plaid shirt and jeans at roughly 220, 230 lbs. or so. Whenever he bent his arm to lift something, a nice sized bicep would bulge under the sleeve, and if he would just unbutton the top three or four buttons to show off those big bulging pectorals he could be shot for a cover of a romantic novel. Judging from the ripped and vein-streaked way his forearms looked when his sleeves are rolled up to his elbows I guessed he was completely shredded with little body fat. He was pretty good eye candy and handsome as well. It was a shame he was straight as a ruler with a girlfriend though.

Every day he would come in the morning to deliver seafood in large crates. Even if there was a rainstorm outside and all the streets were flooded, he would arrive within five minutes from the delivery time and greet us with a smile. Today however was far from the norm. Not only was he late but he had a stern, serious expression on his face. What made it even more unusual was that there was another person with him, a thin and lanky looking guy with thick glasses.

“It’s about time!” Kevin said. “Lunch service starts in one hour!”

“Sorry we’re late.” Joe apologized a bit sourly as we approached. “My brother Paul here accidentally got the wrong truck loaded, so we had to haul everything back out and into the right one.”

Brother? Looking at them, they were nothing alike. Joe was 6’4” at a brawny 220. He was strong, tall, and pretty hot looking; your classic Brawny paper towel man. Paul on the other hand was short and skinny, 5’7” and maybe a bit over one hundred pounds I guessed it. How could someone so hot be related to someone so…not?

“Whatever, let’s just get these things in already!” Kevin was already jumping into the back of the delivery truck. Pushing aside the science that is genetics I grabbed hold of one of the boxes and lifted it up to carry it in, but a sharp cry from Kevin surprised me enough to drop it.

“What the hell is this?” He cried as he held up a piece of raw fish from the box he opened.

Joe jumped onto the truck to his side. “What’s wrong?”

Kevin waved the pink meat around accusingly. “We always order filet of salmon with the skin on! And look here,” Kevin jerked open another box. “This one is filled with just fish bones for stock, not the whole fish we asked for! Do you want us to serve this crap on a plate to our customers? At this rate, we’re going to have to tear out the entire seafood menu for today!”

“Fuck, sorry man.” Joe looked embarrassed and made another accusing glance towards Paul who flinched back. “Look, we’ll get you your right delivery as soon as we can.”

“How did this happen in the first place?” Kevin asked him, his temper simmering down a bit at the sound of a discount. “It’s not like it’s your first delivery.”

“Yea, but its Paul’s.” Joe looked over at his brother, who was looking rather guilty.

“Sorry, I guess I got the whole thing messed up.” Paul’s voice was actually a bit long and dull to tell the truth, and right away I fought the urge to yawn.

“Paul, if you want to work in this business you gotta get your head on straight.” Joe told him. “If you can’t then you better give up on this job and go back to teaching.”

“You used to teach?” I turned to look at Paul, surprised.

“Twelve years.” He nodded. “Though to be honest I always wanted to get into the same business with my dad, but because he worked so hard to give me a good life I thought I should do more. So, I went to college, got a degree and taught math to high school students. I did alright with it, made enough to pay the rent but I wasn’t really happy with what I did. A month and a half ago though, a student of mine convinced me to pursue my dreams, so now I’m dealing in the fish market with my family.”

I couldn’t imagine anyone giving up being a teacher to deal with over a dozen smelly dead fish (though I suppose some teachers wouldn’t be able to see the difference anyhow). However he looked generally excited as he told me about working, so who was I to judge on dreams?

“I hope you catch on fast Paul.” I patted his shoulder.

“Thanks.” Paul smiled back. “Anyway, we better hurry back and fix this order. If we push the speed limit and rush a bit, we might be able to come back in time for the lunch rush”

“You’d better!” Kevin warned threateningly as he jumped down. After the truck had rolled away, I turned towards Kevin. “Did Joe act strange to you? He seemed a bit…mean to his brother.”

“Of course he was.” Kevin said calmly, all previous signs of his anger gone. “He was doing that on purpose.”

I blinked. “Really? Why?”

“It’s because he’s worried that he’ll regret it later.” He told him. “Did you really think Joe would overlook an order this badly? Right now Joe and his Dad are giving Paul the worst time possible to make sure that this is what he really wants. After all, changing careers all of a sudden like that is kinda crazy if you think about it.”

Actually it was, but I was sure Paul had what it took to pursue his dreams. “They’re not going to keep that up for long are they? I mean, Paul seems like a nice guy and all.”

“Don’t worry, Joe tells me that if Paul sticks at it they’ll drop the whole act and support him all the way.”

“You seemed rather calm for someone who just lost a big shipment.” I frowned suspiciously.

“Oh that?” Kevin grinned at me. “Actually, we already received half of everything we need in yesterday’s shipment to last until they get back with the rest. You don’t think I’d be crazy enough to sacrifice lunch service just to teach him a lesson, did you?”

No, I didn’t. I had wondered why yesterday’s order was bigger than before but I didn’t realize this until now. This whole scheme was so sneaky it was scary.

“Speaking of careers, have you’ve reconsidered the boss’s offer?” Kevin looked over at me.

I shook my head. He was talking about a chance to become a permanent addition to the restaurant. Kevin’s boss had given me that offer the first time I worked in the kitchen and still kept on bringing it up whenever I came back.

“Why not? The pay is good, you’re efficient and everyone here likes you. After a few months you’ll be moving up the kitchen ladder and making decent pay.”

It was a really good offer and I did have fun here, but I had decided long ago that I wouldn’t rely on Kevin for a job. Hell, it took a lot of pride swallowing to do this temporary. I knew I was just being stupid, but that was the way I was and I couldn’t change how I felt. And besides, seeing Paul try hard made me even more determined not to give up either.

“Let’s just say the kitchen isn’t really for me.” I told him.

He gave me a look and sighed deeply. “Well, the offer still stands in case you change your mind. Now let’s hurry back into the kitchen and get to work.”

“Alright, I get it.” I laughed and headed back into the kitchen. As I started to get back into gear, I couldn’t help but feel like I was forgetting something, but I shrugged it off and got down cleaning.

“What a day!” Kevin stretched his arms as he and I walked into our apartment. As usual he was feeling great after another successful night of work while I simply tried to ignore the pain in my feet from standing for so long and reminding me another reason why I keep on declining the offer for the job. How anyone could be so energetic after all that was beyond me. Even when I was young and fit I didn’t have the strength to do all of that and party afterwards, which Kevin did frequently.

I groaned as I collapsed on the couch, tossing my shoes off and revealed in the relief that was slowly coming to my poor feet. Meanwhile Kevin noticed the flashing red light on the phone so he pushed play.

“You have one new message.” The bland answering machine voice announced (grammatically incorrect as always I might add.) “New message: Hey Brian, are you home?”

I immediately sat up at the sound of Mr. Kennedy’s voice.

“I guess not.” Kennedy continued on. “Anyways, call me back as soon as you can. I have another job offer for you here and I could really use your help, thanks!” –BEEP-

“Are you going to call him back?” Kevin looked at me.

I didn’t need to answer him since I had already grabbed the phone and was already halfway dialing his number.

“Hello?” Mr. Kennedy’s voice answered after a few rings.

“Hey, Mr. Kennedy, you called me?” I asked, trying not to sound too excited.

“Oh yes Brian, I did!” Mr. Kennedy on the other hand didn’t feel the same need to put up a show of professionalism. “Is it possible you can sub for a bio teacher long term?”

My hopes sank down to the bottom of my gut. “Sorry I can’t.” I replied. “I’m afraid science has never been my strong point.” Of course now I was mentally kicking myself for not pushing myself and learn how to do it, but that was the way life went.

Mr. Kennedy sighed deeply on the other line. “Oh well, can’t stop a guy from trying. I can’t believe the hard luck we have with teachers this year. I mean, first we got Edna getting married, then Paul quit for a job selling fish and now Jamie got into an accident and was hospitalized.”

When Mr. Kennedy said Paul’s name I froze. “Paul?” I asked. “Paul Catalina? Is he a thin, short middle aged man roughly my age with blonde hair and thick glasses?”

“Why yes, do you know him?” He sounded surprised.

The pieces were falling into place now. I could just about see the full picture, and right in the dead center was none other than Ethan himself.

“Brian? Brian, are you still there?” Mr. Kennedy’s voice snapped me back.

“Er, sorry, I gotta go.” I said before hanging up.

“Brian, what was that about?”

“I gotta go.” I repeated again, already heading for the door. I think Kevin called my name but I simply wasn’t listening at that point. My brain practically stopped functioning after that point and I didn’t regain it until after I arrived at Ethan’s house. Don’t ask me how I got there, even I can’t remember. It was late at night however so the lights downstairs were all off, but luckily the one in Ethan’s room was still on.

Obviously ringing the doorbell was out of the question. After a moment of thinking I decided to do what those teenagers did in the movies. Picking up tiny pebbles off the sidewalk, I threw them at Ethan’s window and hoped that the soft tapping sounds were enough to get his attention. After the fourth throw the window opened up and Ethan stuck his head out the window.

“Mr. Brian?” He asked in a kind of loud whisper that really wasn’t a whisper at all. “What are you doing here?”

“I need to talk to you.” I said firmly. “Can you come down?”

He looked a bit taken aback but nodded. “Sure, give me a sec.”

I thought he would leave and walk downstairs to get to me, but instead he actually climbed out the window and jumped from the second story! I wanted to cry out, but my voice was lodge as a lump in my throat as I watched him fall to the ground. Instead of hitting it and breaking every bone of his body however, he bent his legs and landed on his feet like a cat. The shock and impact was absorbed into his thick quads completely with no injury at all and he stood up straight as if a 10 foot jump was nothing. He walked up to me almost casually and looked down at me. “So, what did you want to talk about?”

My legs lost all strength and I would have hit the pavement if he didn’t catch me immediately.

“Mr. Brian, what’s wrong?” He held me tightly, almost crushing me with his big muscles and massive strength.

“D-don’t do that.” My voice shook as much as my knees did. “Don’t ever do that again.”

He looked at me surprised. “What, that? That was nothing. I’ve jumped from way higher places than-”

“Don’t!” I grabbed his arm tightly, my fingers not even sinking into the flesh a bit. It was so thick I couldn’t get a decent hold on it. “Don’t, please…”

“You…that really scared you?”

“Of course it did, I nearly had a heart attack!” I prepared to hit him but stopped myself short. I would probably end up hurting myself instead from punching that solid wall of muscle that way.

Gently he wrapped his arms around me and held me close against his body. “Okay, I promise I won’t do it again.” He said in a low, comforting voice. My heart still beating fiercely but it was slowly was calming down. I could feel his thick arms press into my sides and hold my firmly like a vice. My cheek was pressed against his left pec like a firm pillow that pushed and pulled back with his breathing. I was so close I could smell his strong scent, something I’ve gotten used to and actually kinda hard about now. When I was strong enough, I tapped his shoulder to tell him I could stand on my own. Reluctantly he dropped his arms and stepped back. “You sure you’re okay?” He asked, probably hoping for another chance to hug me. I was tempted to let him as well, to feel his big arms wrap themselves around me again.

“Yea, I’m fine now.” I said as I tried to bring myself back to what I came there to do. “Ethan, your math teacher before me, was his name Paul Catalina?”

“Yes…why?” He frowned.

That pretty much confirmed my suspicions. “You talked him into quitting his job so I would come back and teach, didn’t you?” I accused.

He opened his mouth to automatically deny it, but I saw the guilt crept into him and he looked the other way. “Yea, that was my plan.” He confessed.

God, this was so twisted!

“And now, because you couldn’t see me at school anymore, you went ahead and put your biology teacher in the hospital so I could sub for that too!”

“What?” His head jerked back forward. “What did you say?”

“You heard me!” I stood firm, my emotions gaining momentum. “You actually injured one of your teachers so I would come back to you.”

The look on his face was pure shock. “Mr. Brian, I would never hurt anyone!”

“Yea, like you didn’t hurt that kid when you pile drove him into the ground!”

“That’s part of the game!” He grabbed me and looked at me. “Mr. Brian, I would never, ever hurt anybody just to get to you. I would never stoop that low and do that!”

“And what about Mr. Catalina?”

“He wanted to quit!” Ethan told me. “He just didn’t have the heart to teach us and had all these pictures of his family working at the docks and posters of the fish on the walls. When I talked to him, he told me he just wasn’t happy with what he was doing and wished he had joined his Dad instead. I just…nudged him in the right direction, and I’m sure he’s happy where he is now. But I would never, ever force anyone, I swear to God. Please, you gotta believe me Mr. Brian.”

Right away I tried to tell him I didn’t, not for a second, but when I looked into his face and saw those pleading, defenseless eyes I realized I couldn’t because I did believe him. “You’re telling the truth?”

“Yes!” He nodded. “I know I was being selfish, but I didn’t hurt anyone, honest.”

Normal people would have been skeptical or refused to trust him until they had proof, but his words were good enough for me. “Sorry Ethan. I guess…I guess I just jumped to conclusions.”

“Well you weren’t that far off the mark I guess.” He rubbed the back of his neck. After a moment had past, he straightened up again and lapsed immediately back into his usual self. “But even though you came out here to yell at me, I’m actually kinda glad I had the chance to see you again. We haven’t really talked since you left school last week.”

“I’ve been pretty busy at my temp job.” I explained. Now that I was calmed down again, the allure of Ethan’s body began calling to me again. My cock hardened from remembrance of getting that blow job in the janitor’s closet, how he easily lifted and held me with those long, thick arms of his while he sucked me off.

Ethan naturally noticed the tent in my pants. With a cocky smile, he bounces his chest to make my cock even harder. “Do you think they’ll hire you permanently?”

“I don’t think so.” I shook my head, keeping myself from tearing at his clothes and falling immediately into another muscle worship session. I decided not to mention Kevin’s offer to him since the reason would take too long to explain.

“Well I’ve been looking around for a good job for you too.” Ethan said. “When I find something that looks promising, I’ll let you know.”

I smiled at him. He was really sweet, but I doubted that he could ever find somewhere to take me in.

* * *

“I’m…what?” Was I hearing things?

“You’re hired.” Mr. Johnson repeated for me and confirming what I just heard. Mr. Johnson was the owner of a small tutoring center located on the end of a strip mall. A weird spot for that kind of thing but it looked much better than a roach infested fast food restaurant I suppose.

Out of the blue one night I received a phone call from Ethan about a job offer he thought was good. I was really doubtful that ‘anything good’ would accept me given my past experience. Still I was willing to give it a shot since Ethan sounded really excited about it so how could I say no to him? So I took the bus to the address I was given for an interview. The next thing I knew I got the job without even trying. The way I deduced it, there were only one way that could happen.

“Excuse me Mr. Klein, but there’s something about me that you need to know about first.” I spoke up. As much I was tempted to just go ahead and seize the job, I didn’t want to go through the embarrassment and pain of being fired later because of it.

“Oh, I already know about you past and your court cases.” Mr. Johnson said. “Ethan already informed me about everything.”

“He…he did?”

“Yea, he sat down with me and explained your whole situation out.” He told me. “After he told me who you were I remembered reading it in the newspapers years ago and I always thought you had an unfair trial and didn’t deserve what happened.”

Wow…I…I never thought I would find someone who knew about my past and yet still want to hire me. I mean, some people were okay with it after they got to know me as a person first, but never had I met someone who accepted me for who I was outright at the beginning. ESPECIALLY bosses.

“So…you’re totally okay with me being…?” I asked, still doubting him.

“What, gay?” Mr. Johnson smiled up at me. “Of course I don’t. What is important is that the kids are getting the help they need to succeed in their schoolwork am I right?”

“Totally right.” I grinned back.

“So…does this mean you’ll accept the job?” Mr. Johnson asked me.

Was he kidding? The tutoring center was filled with the sounds of children of all ages. It had kids from as low as second grade to high school students, each one with their own strengths and weaknesses that I could help them with. This…was my patch of heaven.

“That would be a definite yes. In fact, I can even start today.”

* * *

“So it turned out that it was a real accident after all.” I explained. “She stepped on one of her son’s toys and had a nasty fall. So…I’m sorry I accused you of doing it.”

“Hey it’s no problem.” Ethan told me. “You don’t have to apologize for something like that. And I think you treating me to a smoothie pretty much make us even.”

“I still have to thank you for my new job though. I still can’t believe you did all this for me.”

“What’s not to believe?” Ethan took a sip from his smoothie. “It was my fault you got fired in the first place, so the least I could do was find you a replacement.”

“I’d call it a major upgrade.” I laughed.

After getting hired I decided to thank Ethan for his help, so I met up with him at a smoothie shop at the mall on the next Saturday afternoon. Nothing fancy, it was just a casual meeting and a chance to talk. Since it was a Thursday afternoon, the mall wasn’t really jam packed compared to the weekends or holidays.

“So you like it?” Ethan asked me from the other side of the tiny table. I was surprised that little stool he was sitting on didn’t collapse under his weight because he looked bigger than ever if that were possible. The way he hunched over slightly gave me the impression of a grown man sitting at his eight year old daughter’s teatime table.

“I love it.” I told him, still giddy over my job. I guess I should have picked my words more carefully because Ethan’s ears turned pink. “If there’s anything I can do for you to thank you, just name it.”

“Well…there is one thing.” He grinned at me broadly, as if he had been waiting for me to say those words.

“And what’s that?”

“For you to go on a date with me.”

I was lucky he said that before I took another sip of smoothie because I would have spat it out like some kind of sitcom actor. “Wh-what?”

“I’m asking you out Mr. Brian.” He grinned reached over and took my hand. “Dinner, movies, I don’t care where we go as long as you say yes.”

Shit, he actually asked me out. I know we had sex twice already, but all of a sudden the relationship was looking serious. Now the old me would have flat out refused, but the me as of now…Just looking at him made me feel turned on, wanting to explore every inch of his rock hard body. I wanted to see him show off more, flex those big muscles, tear our clothes like paper and then kiss me on the lips. Other than that, well, how could I say no to Ethan?

“Yes.” I nodded. “I’ll go out with you.”
