Tim's Adventure 23

Read previous part

After finishing their dinner (which was either great, or they were extremely hungry) because Tim went back for four or five plates but it was really not enough to get the restaurant excited both left a tip for their server. Tommy wondered why Tim was starving to death, but was really more concerned that they get back to the hotel and get things going.

Tommy drove back to the hotel and Tim had fallen asleep from the pressure of the day in the passenger seat of the pickup. Tommy was pleasantly stuffed, and after undressing and placing the tuxes on to their respective hangers, and then placing the formal wear into the closet, Tommy took a leisurely shower. As he walked out of the bathroom Tim was lying naked face down on the bed. Tommy could see where the hair on his beloved was continuing to grow. His ass was like a dark forest, and there was a darker patch which had spread at the base of his spine. When viewed more closely, new vellus hair could be seen if you looked closely on his back running up both sides. As Tim moved and sort of humped the bed, Tommy could see the muscles in Tim's back move and he could also see the shape and muscle in Tim's ass as it moved with it's part in the larger movement required.

Tommy grabbed some swim trunks out of the clothing pile that was his. As he started to put the trunks on, Tim's cell phone rang and awakened Tim with a start.

The call was from Uncle Mike.

- - - - -

"That's great news!" "One of the networks picked up the story?"

"How long do you think it will take before the Gillis family hears something?"

"He did what?"

"That fast?"

"I see that, Tommy has his swim trunks on. . . . Oh, we were going to head out to the whirlpool spa and relax a little before tomorrow."

"Tommy didn't know it until now, but we have some work to do at Mom's house."

"What work do I have to do at your Mother's house?"

"No, I haven't told him."

"Haven't told me what?"

"Because he will have time to think about it and then get mad at me."

"I'm going to have to say something now."

"You and Uncle Gary have been married longer than we have, what would you do?"

"Running and hiding is not an option, Uncle Mike!"

"By the way, I know that my Mom is incredibly grateful for your donation."

"I sent Taylor and my Sister a text, while Tommy was in the shower?"

"If she wants us at `Bikini Beach' and the luau party tomorrow night she and Taylor are going to have to donate part of their day tomorrow."

"Tim, what in the fuck is going on, and what am I doing tomorrow at your Mom's house?"

"You can hear him complaining already?"

"So can I!"

"How's Taos?"

"Cold?"

"How cold is cold?"

"I'm not going to mention that. . . ."

"Because I will hear even more complaining and bellyaching that's why. . ."

"Let's cross that river when we get there. . . "

"Do they have mounts that are big enough?"

"You put the gooseneck on the Dodge and took four of our horses?" "Why?"

"What could we possibly see there that you couldn't?"

"We lost two of our senior hands, that's terrible, what are we . . . "

"Him too!"

"What about the boys?" "How are they doing?"

"They did what?" "My God, how did that go?" "Sorry to hear that, but those things take time to come to terms with."

"They're covered. . . . . .how?"

"You did what?" "You hired them . . . ."

"I hope that these guys are going to work out."

"I'd rather not. . . ."

"I'll hand him the telephone, if you want to tell him yourself, but, I need this phone." "If you tell him everything that has happened he will crush the phone and I will have to go to the phone store to get another one."

"Yes, I think that mad probably won't cover it."

"Yeah, it is a mixed bag, and I will talk to Tommy about all of it as things move ahead more."

- - - - - -

Tommy knew that at various points in this conversation that the subject was himself. He knew that others knew things he did not and worst of all he knew that there were events coming that might not please him on every level.

At this moment Tommy was going through an entire range of emotions. He was mad, he was hurt, he was wondering if he was being protected, he was hurt even more, he was now embarrassed because he was hurt and the entire range was passing before his eyes.

Just then there was a loud knock at the door!

Tim grabbed the cell phone and his trunks and literally flew at break neck speed into the restroom to dress while Tommy opened the door.

Fortunately and at least temporarily the secrecy was forgotten.

- - - - - - - -

"Danny, we were headed for the spa, would you like to join us?" "I know you're not on tonight."

"I don't know what you guys or your Uncles did, but about forty minutes ago my Mom's home telephone started ringing off the hook." "They started talking about the horrible miscarriage of justice when it came to my Dad and our family." "I guess the story broke somewhere in the news about what happened to my Dad and to all of us." "It appears that some action is going to be taken, and taken quickly." "Some damned Senator has asked for an investigation into the matter and several congressmen are screaming." "What is amazing is that these are some of the same people my Mother contacted." "Why did they take notice now after your Uncles, when they failed to even respond to the pleas made by my Mother."

"Danny, this is an election year and always remember that priorities can change quickly when you are a politician who does nothing and has that exposed as a fact."

"Danny, the rule on this is simply knowing the right people." " A few phone calls were made that caused great embarrassment for a few other people." "What is taking place is politicians who had to have a shift in priorities."

"What shift in priorities did they have to have to do the right thing?"

"A very simple one, instead of having to save your ass, they now have had the priorities shifted to where they have to save their own rear ends instead."

" Danny, why don't you join us in the spa?"

"Am I allowed to do that?"

"Yes you are, when I was not on the clock and when it was not crowded I was always allowed to use the facilities."

"I didn't bring any trunks!"

"I brought a few extra pairs just in case."

"Just in case of what?"

"OK Tim, I would be interested in hearing this one too."

"It's very simple Danny, (and Tommy) when you are as large as we are, and you have this amount of muscle, ripping clothing at a bad moment is something that can easily happen." "Neither Tommy nor I are very tall people, Tommy is taller than I am, and he is about 5'9"." "I am about 5'5"-5'6" on a good day." "Taking the most `endangered' things with backups is just insurance."

"Danny, the truth as Tim will also tell you, is that we are damned lucky on this one." "Tim's Sister Cheryl is kind of creative." "We found out that she had at the last minute changed a "post wedding party" tomorrow night from a more formal dress into a Hawaiian bikini beach type affair at the indoor pool at the Country Club. "They did this instead of a Wedding Reception.

"I think that's kind of cool. . ."

"Well Danny, it would be cool if the motives were right." "The problem is that the change did not take place until she saw Tommy and I at my Mom's house in nothing but some gray sweat pants, and I think that the idea was to place us on "display" as if we were some sort of "trophy" attending her shindig.

Unless that is what they are after, nobody likes to be treated as if they were a sex object, it is demeaning and makes you desired only for what you look like and not for what you are as a person. Both Tommy and I lead very normal lives with the same work and responsibilities as everyone else. We just happen to be two guys who workout and have had really great and unusual success at doing it.

"I would give anything to look like you guys do."

"Here, Danny, get these damned trunks on so that we can all get out into the spa, relax and we can talk there."

"Where can I change?"

"What's wrong with right here?"

"I would be embarrassed."

"Why?"

"Because I am such an ugly scrawny geek compared to you guys!"

"Hold it a minute, quit putting yourself down." "Do you realize that it was not all that long ago that I was no bigger than you are right now?" "You could improve on what you have very easily with the right food, supplements, exercise and rest."

"I have all these awful acne scars, I have a ton of hair all in the wrong places and nobody thinks I am attractive at all."

"Why do you say that?"

"Because I am always being put down."

"Who puts you down?"

"Geezz, you name it!"

"Be more specific. . . ."

"Well, the truckers for instance. . ."

"Hold it Danny, remember that you replaced me and I did your job for how many years."

"I don't know. . ."

"Danny, I started doing a few things around here before I was really old enough to work legally." "I starting working legally here when I was in high school and yes I got some put-downs too, in fact there were more than I can count." "Those put downs were usually from truckers trying to show their lack of intelligence by making really stupid remarks." "Those that put me down tended to have bellies that hung way over their belt, and as a result they were gobbling down high blood pressure medication, cholesterol medication, sometimes heart medication and Viagra by the handful just to get an erection." "When you have a belly that requires it's own zip code that also goes with the territory." "I may have been a skinny, hairy, pock marked geek as well, but I was a skinny hairy geek that was not eating himself to death and who cared about the feelings of others." "A few quality traits that would help these guys out in their lives."

"Can I call you Tim?"

"I hope so, it's what my Mother and Dad named me many years ago."

"When I asked your Mom before this wedding thing got started, she said that you lost your Dad too." ""I miss my Dad so bad and it hurts so much." "Man, I did't get to say goodbye or anything when he died." "I was still in high school, and he was deployed just before my graduation." "He was killed only a few days before . . ."

`Danny, the only thing I can tell you is that time makes it get better." "Your Dad only died a short time ago and you have to cut yourself some slack dude!" "Your Dad's time did not come until you were a little older." "I lost my Dad to an accident with a combine." "My Dad lived long enough to make it to the hospital and last a few days in agony." "For years, I asked myself questions, not unlike the ones you are asking yourself right now." "From the little I heard, the down side was that yours was obliterated within microseconds, mine hung around long enough to regain enough consciousness to suffer horribly from his injuries." "I did have sort of a chance to see him before he expired, but in my case, it made it far worse. I loved my Dad too, but now I am able to realize that if he had lived, he would have had this great functioning brain, but his body would have been a mess, and he would have needed help with everything for the rest of his life span." "My Dad was an active man who always gave to others until it hurt." "For him to lose what he would have lost, if he had survived, to him it would not have been life." "My Dad would have suffered physically, that would have wrecked him mentally, and that would have destroyed the Dad I knew and loved." "As I grew older, I had to ask myself if wanting him to survive in a totally incapacitated and destroyed state was for me or if it was for him." "As time goes on and other things in your life equalize, you will think about it and the acceptance of your loss will become part of you." "In a way, my memories of my Dad now are a wonderful gift." "I was given the great gift of remembering the man as the man I loved, not an invalid who had become bitter because of limitation and incredible handicaps imposed by injuries."

"Tim, Danny, do you mind if we go out and get in the spa?" "Remember the spa?" "We have been talking for over an hour now."

"Drop your pants and lose the shirt Danny!"

"Y-Y-Y-ou-r not going to- - - h- h - hurt me?"

"There you go with that again, nobody is going to hurt you!"

"No Danny, that spa out there will feel really good, and both Tommy and I need to get out and enjoy the hot water."

- - - - -

When they walked out and stepped into the spa, the water was warm and soothing to all three. What was funny was that as Tim and Tommy began to clown around with him he began to relax more and more around them. Their looks and their size and strength began to fade into the background as they talked about travel and all the places that Danny wanted to see in the world.

Within about fifteen minutes Danny started to become playful with them and the water that was splashed at him got splashed back. Danny started to see Tim and Tommy in a totally different light.

- - - - -

"The only thing is guys that after things settle down here I am still screwed out of my escape, and even worse I am still screwed out of college."

"Danny, I want you to remember something." "There is an old saying that `Rome wasn't built in a day' and there is truth in that."

"Tim, I know, but when you guys leave here, I am going to go right back to the same horrific life for a while at least." "Like you said about the time factor, it is going to take time for the finances to clear and in the meanwhile the phone calls with the creditors are going to continue, and my Mom is going to continue to be a nervous wreck."

"Danny, my Uncles are going to take care of that for you." "Your Mom is going to have to pay it back, but there will be a real quick interest free loan from my Uncles to bail things out." "They will wait until your Mom get's her settlement to expect any kind of repayment."

- - - - - - - - - - -

Tears started to stream down Danny's face and he started to cry. He could not understand why people he had never heard of would help he and his Mom without question at a time like this. Tim stood up and walked across the spa in the deserted recreation area. It appeared that the entire wing was deserted and that they were the only ones staying in rooms there. Tommy stood up and walked over next to Danny. They both hugged him and simply said that they were there to protect him.

As the evening wore on, things calmed down again. After the spa was a thing of the past, they went back into the room and listened to some CD's that Tim had rescued from the center console of the pickup truck.

- - - - - - - - - -

"Danny, are you working tomorrow?"

"No, according to the schedule, I have the next two days off."

"How are you with a paint brush and an airless spray rig?"

"Hold it, Hold it, Hold it Tim!" "That reminds me, you never did tell me the horrific details of the ordeal to which I will be subjected before going to your Sister's party!" "Lucy..You got some ssplainin' to do."

"With all the work going on this next week on Mom's house, we had a donation From your Uncle Mike and Uncle Gary for paint and rentals for an airless and some supplies to paint Mom's house."

"How are we going to get the prep work done?"

"Tommy, we don't have to be in Taos until next weekend." "Mike and Gary said that the weather is cold as hell down there and some snow has been falling intermittently, and, not to show up until then."

"Cheryl, Taylor, You and I can get the thing prepped before the roofers show up on Monday." "If we have Danny's help, we might make it in time for Danny to get cleaned up and go to the Luau with us."

"Danny Looked dumb struck!"

"I . . . I . . . wasn't invited. . . . ."

"Don't worry Danny, I know that Cheryl and Taylor will welcome you and it would be good for you to get your mind off the stress for as much time as we can facilitate!"

"I don't have anything to wear!"

"Danny I have an extra pair of those Hawaiian Kahala shorts in my bag!"

"What about a shirt?" "I'm so skinny, what about a shirt?"

"Danny, Taylor is a smaller guy too!" "Nobody is going to put you down kiddo because if they do it would apply to the groom treating all these guests to this affair."

"What are you doing Tommy?"

"I am sending a Text to Taylor!"

"I know that Taylor and Cheryl will welcome you!"

"How do you know that?"

"Because if you're helping with the house tomorrow, the work you will be doing will be work that my Sister Cheryl is not doing and I know my Sister."

"Danny, as you get to know my beloved Sister, you will come to understand Cheryl's definition of `manual labor' in it's broader context." "Her definition is best defined as the labor you pay Manuel to do!"

- - - - - - - -

A few seconds later, Danny's cell phone rang. The call was from his Mother. Danny turned ashen white and the tears started streaming again but it was not really a look of sorrow.

- - - - - - - -

"I don't believe it!" "The news of our plight hit the Associated Press and the crap has really hit the fan in a way that is good for us, but not good for everybody." "The Bank has been ordered to halt the foreclosure proceedings on our house." "The Bank President at this hour called my Mom and said that they would see what they could do to carry the payments until this whole matter was settled."

"My Mom said that the thing she really has not believed is that somebody started a fund for us at the bank to help us get our bills caught up and people have been given a way to donate." "According to the Bank President, the donations are pouring in from people all over the country and there was already about twelve hundred dollars in the account with the amount climbing when the Bank Brass called." "The only dream that has not come true is my College education and the scholarship."

"Danny, we have been on this now a relatively short time as things in the greater scope, and already you have a great percentage of your problems being examined that were not your own or your Mother's fault." "You are going to have to see where things go over time, this has been a disaster for how long and it has been addressed in how long so far?" "Here you are seeing the feathers fly and it has been less than twenty-four hours."

"Yeah Danny, by the way, what was it you were going to study down in Colorado?"

"I want to be a Veterinarian, I want veterinary medicine."

"We may have a solution to this that would be better than what you originally intended."

"You do?" "What?"

"As time goes on, this will all work out, and there is potential for other opportunities for you, and in that field."

"Danny, what is your shirt size?"

"Why?"

"Because I am texting it to Taylor, so he can bring an extra."

"I take a men's small."

"I know that one of Taylor's shirts would fit."

"Tim, what pair of those Kahala shorts are we loaning Danny?"

"Ok, now he has the colors."

- - - - - - - -

The social time wound down about midnight, and Danny headed back to his Mom's house. He had weird feelings in many ways. Here were two guys who could have graced any male centerfold on the planet, and he was not being judged or treated badly by them for his own self-perceived shortcomings. Maybe all guys who looked like this were not stuck up self-serving idiots.

As Danny tried to drift off to sleep, he was beginning to feel that there was a real alliance somehow forming and he did not know where it was going to take him.

That night he had the strangest dreams. . . He was still Danny, but instead of being this little wimpy geek his entire body had grown to be like the bodies of Tommy and Tim. He had guys chasing him like crazy and this started and turned the corner into yet another dream.

Here he was, being chased by everything he would have wanted or killed for two weeks ago, and in his dream, he was rejecting these people because for the first time he was seeing that their looks and the opportunities that those looks generated, created people who knew nothing other than how to trade on some physical characteristic they had been given as a gift, which in turn had created some very messed up individuals with very misguided ideas about life. Here they were, in this dream state, chasing him in this new form, and yet they treated others they considered beneath themselves like dirt. Here he was, this incredibly beautiful stud, and he was rejecting people because of who they were as people. It appeared that somehow his mind and being around both Tommy and Tim had made a profound change in him, he was being or had been rejected, and the rejections he had suffered were now not really bad things because if he used his brain, those rejections and how they were done, had shown him what was really important

Back at the "Flying T" Tommy and Tim settled down and just held each other.

- - - - - - - -

"Tim?" "I don't understand why you were afraid to talk to me about the work on your Mom's house?"

"Honey, I wasn't really afraid, it, it, is just that I want to get out of this place and I don't want to have to come back."

"What's wrong?"

"The whole trip up here has made me uncomfortable as you well know." "I have been absolutely floored that people have not made more out of the transformation of `the old Tim' into the `new' Tim." "In spite of what you may think, my personal feeling has still been get in the damned truck and head back South because that is now my home." "My home is on a ranch, where I feel like I have value and can do something, my value up here is as an open wallet and as a protector for my Mother against my Sister's antics."

"To tell the truth, I really do want to get back to the gym and the people I train too." "I truly did need a vacation, and I at times would far rather be seen on horseback working cattle next to the one I love far more than pushing iron in the gym and teaching some other individual to do the same." "I am not without understanding you know?"

"Tommy, the other thing that is really beginning to bother me is that in order to protect ourselves in some ways, we are going to have to begin to transform a number of other people." "If it had not been for the brilliance of a couple of `mad scientists' at best, I might have gained 20 pounds by now." "I have to say it is true that I am living a dream, that physically I have become everything I had ever dreamed of in others, and yet there in a way is a dark side to it." "I am afraid that the person I was will somehow be swallowed up by this guy that would make any porn star jealous."

"Tim, since my own stupid melt down took place over some clandestine horseback riding lessons, I have been forced to do a great deal of soul searching on just that subject." "What caused the meltdown Tim was just what you are talking about right now." "Tim, there are two Tommy's just like there are two Tim's." "Everybody else sees this blondish gorgeous hunk that is a gay guys wet dream in every respect." "What I still see is the frailties of the original Tommy, long before I became what I am today." "My mind still sees the old Tommy, while the mirror reflects something totally different." "There is something really weird about it in a good way though." "Tim, if I had been given this from the beginning and I did not have to earn even a small part of it, would I have still been a good person?" "Genetically I still would have been this gay guy, but, in all reality, would I have been as plastic and superficial as those both you and I dislike intensely?" "You and I have enjoyed something that nobody can take away from us, and that is best illustrated by the story of the ugly duckling that becomes the swan." "You and I both know what it is like to be the guy picked on, the guy last chosen for the team, the kid that had sand kicked in his face, and all the rest." "In addition, we know what it is like to be simply chosen because of what we look like as well." "We have the opportunity to see both sides, and the horrific way people are treated at both extremes."

"I do know what Danny is talking about, when he was talking about some of these fat ass old truckers putting him down, I remember that happening to me too." "What I remember most is that the ones doing it were men who had no reason to brag about their physiques." "How a guy who has trouble grabbing his own dick to take a leak in a urinal because of the size of his belly can talk about anyone else is beyond me."

- - - - - - - -

Things did go well and though she did not do a great deal, even Cheryl helped with the clean up and preparation work to Tim's Mother's house. Danny really worked his rear end off and that also had many good sides. Tim saw in Danny a really great guy who had just had some bad breaks.

There were a few moments where Taylor was a little bit obvious in his interests. There were some interesting things that happened in that the entire neighborhood seemed to come over and begin to pitch in with the work around the house. It was as if many people wanted to offer their help towards a woman who had worked so hard to raise her children after the death of her husband.

The presence of Danny Gillis seemed to add to the entire thing with many expressing their emotions towards the problems that the Gillis family had faced.

The people of Scottsbluff Nebraska had spoken and in a very unexpected way. They were definitely for the success of their own townspeople.

The roofers came in, and a completely new roof was applied to the home and the job was beautifully done.

The day that the airless sprayer was flying all over the home and the masked windows, a silver Mercedes-Benz arrived at the home and Taylor's Dad and Mom exited the driver's seat. Flowers left over from the wedding were brought to Tim's Mother and the new family through marriage really embraced the new relatives.

The final days were a blur with events taking place at lightening speed.

When it was "check-out" time for Tim and Tommy there was an entire entourage there to say goodbye and it was so unexpected that neither Tom nor Tommy really knew how to react. Danny Gillis seemed very morose, and so did Bobby. With a few more dietary changes Bobby had dropped a few more pounds and was moving around a great deal better. Dietary changes were not limited to Bobby and some dietary changes were left behind for Danny too. Taylor and Cheryl were both there and were both very affectionate towards the two young men. Not to be left out were most of the employees and the largest surprise was when the owner of the Flying T showed up. He was a man of few words. He was a man of great action however and he told the two boys that after what they had done for so many, there was no hotel bill. He mentioned that he wanted a picture of the two that he could use for the new menu at the restaurant.

Tim and Tommy got into the seat of the dually, the Powerstroke was fired and they started heading down the road and would be in Taos late that night.
