Who is GD?

I am a guy living in South Manchester who enjoys taking pictures of other guys. I've been interested in photography for sometime but never really had the opportunity to take a lot until 2005. Now I've lets see how things develop in 2006.

I started modelling for guys a few years ago. Have done about 8 sessions now and have a couple of photographers who I've done work with several times. I have found that everyone has there own style of taking photographs. I've found I look I'm pretty good at posing -don't need a lot of direction, these leaves me looking relaxed and natural and the photographer able to choose the angles, framing, background, props. As my modelling develops I'm going to have to get into working more with the photographer tweaking the pose to get it not just good but great. What I really want is to pose and take at the same time - split personality in there somewhere.

So to forfil the creative side of me I've started taking photos of guys, mainly outdoor locations. The guys seem to relax very quickly into a session. I tend to chat a reasonable amount about what I'm taking - giving feedback to the guy of whats looking good, encouraging him/suggesting what to do next. I seem to be getting a good success rate in what I'm taking and the guys seem to enjoy it and want to come back for more.

I'm struggling to find a suitable indoor location I can use - especially for evenings or the cold weather so hurry up the the good weather so I can get outdoors again. A photographer I've modelled for has invited me to use his studio sometime - I need a fit muscled guy for these pics.

For the right guy I'll hand over the camera and pose as a duo / group.
