Giant Tom

Tom always liked to walk through the woods and think.  It was the only
time he could be alone with his thoughts without interruption.  He
preferred to be alone.  He liked to use his imagination as he walked,
pretending to be fantasy characters.  His favorite fantasy was being a
giant.  But this day was different.  Tom walked without any particular
direction.  He didn't know how far he had gone until he came upon a
small overlook.  He had never been this far before.  He could see a
house in the distance.  He decided to get a closer look at the house.
He judged the house to be about half a mile away, but was surprised to
find that it was much closer.  As he walked toward it he noticed that
it didn't seem to get bigger.  Within minutes he was in the yard of
the house.  He looked at the house in disbelief, it was so small.  It
only came up to his waist.  The small house was two story with a very
neat looking yard around it.

Tom's curiosity got the best of him.  He walked up to the tiny house
and began to inspect it.  Everything around the house was small.
There was even a small car in the yard.  Tom reached down and picked
up the car to get a closer look at it.  He was feeling like a real
giant and he liked it.

Paul had been too busy to notice the giant coming toward his house.
He was playing really load music and playing a video game.  It wasnt
until he got up to leave for town that he noticed movement out of the
window.  He walked over to the window and was shocked to see a giant
man in his yard holding his car in his hand.  Fear overtook him and he
panicked.  He ran downstairs to lock the front door, not realizing
that this was useless.

Tom heard the door of the little house slam.  Still holding the car,
he walked up to the house.  He towered over the house.  Tom began to
feel strong and powerful as he stood over the little building.  Could
there really be a little person living in it?  He had to know.  Tom
bent down and peered into the windows.

Paul yelled as a giant eye looked into the house at him.  There was no
where to go.

Tom spotted the tiny little man in one of the upstairs rooms.  He
couldn't resist now.  He was a real giant, and this was his fantasy
come true.

Tom crushed the little car in his hand and let it drop.  He started to
laugh as he made a fist and punched a hole into the wall of the house.

Paul ran from the room just as the giant hand came in for him.  He
tried to run downstairs and hide but the giant was watching him
through the windows.  Laughing at him.  The front door went flying as
the giant reached in through to grab Paul.  Paul fled back upstairs to
the only room with no windows.

Tom was enjoying this game.  He would have the little man, there was
no escape from him.  He couldn't see him now but he knew how to fix
that.  Tom stood up and grabbed a corner of the roof.  He easily
ripped off a huge section.  It was easy to find his little toy now.

Paul stood watching helpless as the roof was torn off.  He looked up
at the huge giant.  The giant was incredible.  He must have been about
50 feet tall and was very muscular.  There was nothing he could do as
the giant reached down and grabbed him.

Tom picked up the little man in his fist.  He loved feeling the man
squirm.  Tom looked at him and laughed again.  "Fe Fi Fo Fum," he
said, and laughed some more.  Tom decided to show off for the little
captive.  "How does it feel to be at the mercy of a giant?"  He began
flexing his biceps and pushing the little man up against them.

Tom wanted more.  He figured that if there was one little house here,
there should be more.  It was then that he noticed a tiny little road
leading away from the house.  He looked at the little captive and
decided that he wanted to know what it felt like to crush a man in his
hand.  He closed his hand around Paul and became excited as he felt
the tiny bones breaking.  Tom dropped him and began following the tiny
road.  He was a giant now, and he wanted to try lots of different
things to have fun.

---

Tom walked only a little ways before he saw a small truck coming down
the little road.  Time for more fun.  He stepped out when the truck
was close enough and put his hiking boot right in the path of the
truck.  The truck swerved sideways and skidded to a stop.  There were
two men in the little truck.  One of them stumbled out and looked
around.  He looked up at Tom and began to laugh.  "I see giants now!"
he said, and stumbled backwards.  Tom knew at once that these guys
were drunk.  He shook his head with disapproval and reached for the
truck.  The driver wasn't aware of what was going on.  He shook his
head to clear it and tried to get his bearings.  This was when he
looked out of the window and saw a giant face looking at him.  The
driver yelled and tried to get out of the truck until he realized that
his truck was up in the air.  Tom laughed at him.  "Drinking this
early and driving, you will have to be punished."  Tom started to
swing the truck through the air.  This made the driver sick.  He then
ran the truck along his body as if it was a road.  When he reached the
opposite arm, Tom had an idea.  He rolled the truck down to the crook
in his arm.  "Toll bridge," he said, as he began to flex with the
truck in the crook of his arm.  Tom's bicep pushed up against the
truck with a slow squeezing motion.  The sides of the truck gave way
to the giant muscle.  Tom really enjoyed that and wanted to do it
again.  He was sure he would find more.  He looked into what was left
of the truck and saw that the driver was dead.  He then balled the
truck up in his hands and tossed it.

Tom now turned his attention to the passenger of the truck.  He was
trying to get away now, but was stumbling too much.  Tom walked up to
him and placed his hiking boot just over the little man.  The little
man screamed as Tom slowly stepped down on him, squashing him.

This was too much fun for Tom.  He decided to run down the tiny road
now.  He wanted to see what was down it.  It was only minutes before
he reached the edge of a complete little town.  Tom stripped off his
shirt and pounded his chest.  With a roar he entered the little town.

                             * * * * *

Tom walked into the little town, smiling as he watched all the tiny
people run for shelter.  He liked the fear he could feel from them.
There was so much he could do, he didn't know what to try first.  The
answer came to him when he saw a bus moving down one of the streets.
Tom laughed as he easily caught up with the bus and picked it up.  It
was full of tiny people, all screaming at the sight of this giant.  He
felt powerful holding a bus full of people.  He began to shake the bus
just for fun.  The peoples' screams got louder as they were jarred
around in the bus.  Tom then held the bus with one arm and with his
free hand, tore off the top of the bus.  One by one he grabbed a
passenger in his hand.  He ended the life of each one a different way.
One he crushed.  Another he dropped.  One he snapped in two.  He felt
no remorse for these helpless people, 'cause to him they were just
toys.  He began to run out of ideas until he remembered that giants
were supposed to eat people.  He thought he would try it.  The last
one in the bus was a young guy.  He cowered between the seats hoping
Tom wouldn't see him.  "You get a special treat for trying to hide
from me," Tom said, smiling wickedly.  Tom grabbed him up and held him
in front of his face.  "You get to become part of me."  Tom tilted
back his head and lowered the guy into his mouth.  He realized that he
really liked the feeling of a person in his mouth.  Tom played with
him for a few minutes before he bit down and chewed him up.  He loved
it.

His fever of power was getting stronger.  Tom began to go on a full
rampage.  He reached into buildings to grab people and then eat them.
When he didn't want to eat anymore he just terrorized them before
crushing them.  He attacked everything.  Cars on the street, people
running away from him, people in houses, nothing was sheltered from
this giant.

At one point, some police tried to stop him with guns.  The tiny
bullets were nothing to him.  He grabbed up two officers and crushed
them together in one hand.  One officer tried to run into a nearby
office building.  Tom laughed at how futile this was.  He bent down
and punched his fist through the wall of the building.  He then felt
around inside for the cop.  He found unlucky people working in the
building.  He crushed them quickly, but he was looking for the cop.
He finally caught the tiny officer.  The cop begged for mercy as Tom
stood up with the guy in his hand.  Tom then pushed the little cop
into his chest.  "See how strong I am, your weak little weapons can't
hurt me."  Tom laughed at him.  The tiny cop was pushed up against
Tom's chest, making his movements in his chest hair tickle.  Then Tom
slowly made a fist crushing the tiny officer.

Tom had a tiny town all his own.  He would come back to terrorize the
town often.  From time to time the little people would have some kind
of weapon to try and stop the giant.  But these were never effective.
Tom owned them.  Only he knew where they were.  They were his toys.
