The beginning of the tale. Thom, the Dark Rogue, is captured by a High Guard of Aragonia. When
they begin to become intimate on their journey, they must figure out how to stay together while
justice is served, or how to bear being separated by their stations.

Thom and Madoc are sent on a most dangerous mission, but not without help. Thom seeks out
Lennox, while Madoc meets Sir Bastian, a mage who may be just as deadly to them as the
criminals, and who has a secret mission of his own.

Tybalt exacts his revenge on Melydia, and Thom, Madoc and Rab chase after them to get her
back, but what could be his purpose when he sets off at sea?
