Frequently Asked Questions

Please read the full answer as my sense of humour has taken over in some of the FAQs.

Do I need to shower before I arrive? In short, yes! I know that there are some guys out there who enjoy the smell of sweat, but not me. I will be clean and fresh and I expect you to be, too.
How can I trust you to be discrete about my email address and phone number? My policy on emails is simple, as it is relatively straight-forward to set up an anonymous email account: if you email me then I will reply as soon as I can. I usually check my emails a couple of times each day. If I know that I won't have access to emails then I will indicate this on my diary.

Please set up appointments by email. When we have agreed a date & time then I will give you my address details as well as my mobile phone number. I will want a mobile phone number from you at that point in case I have last minute problems with the appointment and need to get in touch with you.

As initial contact with me will be by email, my policy on phones is fairly simple: I will only answer the phone, or respond to texts, if you have already booked an appointment and that appointment is less than 24 hours away. No exceptions!

I'm more than happy for you to share my website & email details with any of your friends who you think might want a massage too!

I may email you about making further appointments, making you aware of changes to prices or current availability. Emailing would be at most monthly> let me know if you don't want me to email me and I won't.
What if I'm running late? Will you still be able to fit me in? If you're only 5 or 10 minutes late then there shouldn't be a problem. More than that, and your appointment might be running into the next one, which wouldn't be fair on the next guy. If you're not late for your GP or dentist then you won't be late for me as having a massage is much more enjoyable than seeing your GP or dentist!
What if my plans change and I can't make the appointment after all? Sh*t happens! Let me know as soon as you know. Let me know by text or phone if it is the day of the appointment itself, otherwise email is fine. Of course, if you do this all the time, then I might suggest you find an alternative masseur!
I've never had a massage before and I'm really nervous There really isn't anything to be nervous about. We can talk this through before the appointment, if you like. However, remember that you are in complete control. You decide how much pressure I apply; you decide if there are any no-go areas of your body for me. You decide if you want to keep your boxers on. I will respect all of your decisions. Usually, guys just let me "get on with it" and might ask for a bit more attention on their shoulders or somewhere. If I know that you are nervous, then I will check with you throughout the massage that you're ok with everything.
I'm very shy and I want to keep my pants on! OK!!! That's fine, just make sure they're an old pair. Remember that guys tend to keep a lot of tension in their buttocks, especially if they're sitting down all day. I'd still like to include massaging them in my routine for this reason. As above, you decide if there are any no-go areas of your body for me and I'll respect that. I suggest that you bring a spare pair to change into after the massage as they will have oil on them.
What if I get a hard-on during the massage? Really, it's not a problem. It happens all the time, and it's a perfectly natural reaction to being massaged. If I'm the one on the couch having a massage, and get a hard-on I close my eyes. That way, I can't see that the masseur can see my cock and it's ok, it's not happening! That might work with you too?
Do you offer "extras"? In short, "no". I offer a full body massage and you pay me for the time I take over the massage. Nice & simple, really. I don't offer a quick rub-down and relief that you get from some masseurs listed in various magazines. I don't offer an escort service or roleplay - if that is what you are after, then please look elsewhere, and be prepared to pay escort rates.
I'm a straight guy but prefer to have a massage from a man rather than a woman. Is this ok with you? Of course. If you're comfortable with a guy giving you a massage, then I'm happy to massage you. All that I've said about you being in control and me respecting your decisions still apply.
I'm "under the doctor" and have a current medical condition. Will I still be able to have a massage? Please tell me about anything you have been seeing your GP for over the past two years, apart from the usual man-flu, as this may affect the massage treatment that I can give you. I might be able to "work around" the problem area (if, for example, you have recent scar tissue from surgery). It may be that I will need to get a letter from your GP confirming massage is ok for your condition (for example, if you have high or low blood pressure).

It's much better to sort this out by email/telephone beforehand than to be disappointed on the day of the appointment.
Do I have to listen to whale music during the massage? No. But if you have a particular CD that helps you relax, then bring it along and I'll be happy to play it. Just remember to ask for the CD back when you leave, because I've got a memory like a "what is it called"?
Can I shower after the massage?

Won't the oil ruin my clothes?
No & no. Seriously, you can wipe of the excess oil with a hot, wet, towel (or ask me nicely, and I'll do it for you). The oil is nourishing your skin and is good for it. Having a shower, using soap to strip away the oil will do more harm to your skin than good.

OK, it might be difficult to get the oil out of those silk boxers. If you're worried, then wear some of your older kit, not your Saturday glad-rags.
Can I have a cup of tea or coffee afterwards to recover? Actually, you should avoid caffeine for a couple of hours after the massage. I'll offer you a chilled glass of water to help you re-hydrate.
I'm planning on a game of squash straight after the massage. Is this ok? No. The massage you have just had has released toxins into your body and reactions vary depending on the person. You may feel tired or you may feel full of beans. These reactions are a natural process of your body rebalancing itself.

After the massage you need to rest, and enjoy the relaxing benefits of the massage. You also need to drink plenty of water to re-hydrate.

Things you shouldn't do for at least a couple of hours after a massage include: drink alcohol or caffeine, smoke, exercise or eat a heavy meal. Sorry guys!
I'm disabled. Are there any access problems with me getting to you? I'm afraid so. I live on a second floor flat and there is no lift. However, all is not lost as I'm willing to come out to you and do the massage at your place. I've got a portable massage couch, or I can massage you on the floor or your bed, if that is more convenient. I will want some payment to cover my petrol costs and travelling time, but we can cover that in a phone call or via emails. All of the FAQs above apply.
I've looked through the FAQs, but still have some questions. Email me with your questions and I will answer them for you. If I think other guys might ask the same sort of question in the future, then I will add it to the FAQs.
