Embracing His Eyes 3½

(Author's note: Part 3 ended a bit abruptly. So I wrote an extra-chapter that explicitly focuses on Benny getting a makeover from Craig’s hairstylist.)

After Benny got his crew cut, a full body waxing and a goatee Craig examined him from head to toe with his hypercritical eye. You could see that he still wasn’t satisfied with the result. Benny looked great alright. But they could do better.

If there was ever a revival of ‘Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’ Craig would be a great addition to the gay team helping pitiful straight men to improve their lifestyles. Actually, he did get the chance to be part of a television show which he turned down when it was evident that the job would force him to reduce his time with his family. It might have been a once of a lifetime offer to a lot of people but to Craig it wasn’t worth the sacrifices he had to do and he never regretted his decision to pass on it. His husband and children were the most important things in his life. He would never trade them for anything. Moreover, he still had his clients who appreciated his work whereas the men fell victim to his so-called ‘Good Samaritan’ mode from time to time that included a total makeover. Today, Benny was the lucky one who had to endure a radical transformation. And he knew that it would take a while.

Craig finally came up with a few ideas that might result in a look that would get his approval. First he asked his hairstylist to shave Benny’s head removing the remaining hair that were already super-short. Then, instead of a goatee they should go for a soul patch. As a final touch it wouldn’t hurt to put some eyeliner on to highlight his beautiful eyes that were one of his most significant features besides his nice round ass and massive chest.

Since they already got rid of most of his hair Benny didn’t mind losing the rest of it as long as they stayed away from his eyebrows. He didn’t want to look like a freak. Unfortunately, he didn’t have much to say. Craig was the one who was in charge. Benny could complain as much as he wanted, nobody would listen to him. That went especially for the hairstylist who remained loyal to Craig. After all, he was one of his regular customers and paid a lot of money for his services.

Following Craig’s orders, the hairstylist put shaving cream on Benny’s head and grabbed a sharp razor. Benny wanted to say something. He wanted to make him stop as he realized what was about to happen. But it was too late. The hairstylist was already doing his job. Carefully, he shaved off the last bit of hair on his head leaving behind nothing but his smooth skin. Within minutes Benny was bald. Then the hairstylist applied several lotions on his head to make it shine like the sun in a clear sky. Mixed together, they released a fragrance that put Benny at ease. His tense muscles relaxed. The beating of his nervous heart slowed down. Benny thought that he was about to fall asleep. In the meantime, the last wall of resistance crumbled inside of him. Did they use a tranquilizer on him? Actually, he didn’t care if they did. It was better than being a nervous wreck.

Next, Benny’s goatee was removed until there was only a small tuft of hair left. Again, it seems that he rejuvenated. Although his ID showed that Benny was thirty-four he could be easily mistaken for a muscular man of twenty-two with a boyish face that could get him a job as a Calvin Klein model in no time. Benny remembered that he never looked that great when he was in his twenties. He used to be a lazy fat ass. If he had known that he was actually a handsome guy he would have started to work-out in an early age. He passed on so many chances when he was younger. But it wasn’t too late. He could still experience the life of a hunk that had the body, the brain and the money to get anything and anywhere he wanted.

While Benny was imaging all the possibilities he had with his beautiful face, the makeover continued. No longer did he mind the so-called improvements as long as they brought out the best of him. He leaned back and let the guys do their work. Little did he know that Craig’s hairstylist was anything but normal. Actually, he wasn’t even human.

There were beings walking around that could make dreams come true. You could call them wizards or fairies. Their powers were unlimited. However, they were bound by an oath they had to make when the most powerful of them realized that they could destroy people’s lives if they didn’t watch out. In the past a lot of them used their powers without thinking of the consequences. Families were torn apart. Relationships were shattered to pieces without any possibility to fix them. Friends became enemies. Children were traumatized for life. In order to stop their wrongdoings the most powerful of them gathered everybody back to their realm and opened their eyes to all the damages they already caused on earth. After that they swore that they would only use their unlimited power as long as nobody was negatively affected.

Because of the oath Craig’s hairstylist who happened to be one of the most infamous beings as he destroyed countless lives held back. No memories were altered. Benny’s personality remained untouched. The same went to his sexual preferences. All he did was making Benny younger. There were moments he found it hard to refrain himself as it was his nature to be mischievous. Furthermore, there was something about Benny that made him irresistible. The guy who sat on his chair already made some life-changing experiences with the supernatural just not long ago. He was curious about the things that happened to him. But he stopped before he could have a look in his mind. Instead, he focused on his work.

With some little adjustments the soul patch was perfectly shaped. Again, Craig’s hairstylist demonstrated that he was a professional. No wonder, he had such a big clientele. Then Benny’s eyebrows were plucked into very thin and elegant arches that appeared to be painted on his face making him look like a spoiled high-society lady (Just think of Pamela Anderson and you’ve got the picture). After that the hairstylist put some eyeliner on his bottom eyelid and lip gloss on his lips… Finished!

This time Craig was happy with the result. “All the sexy guys will make a move on you,” he told Benny. “You will be the center of everybody’s attention.”

While examining his reflection in the mirror Benny couldn’t believe how much he changed. Before the hairstylist started his work he was a thirty-four year old masculine guy with a beard. Now he was a man in his early twenties with an androgynous face on a muscular body. How did the hairstylist do that? But he had to admit that the soul patch and the pencil-thin eyebrows make him more fascinating. There was no way that he would be overlooked in a crowd.

The old Benjamin Schmidt would be appalled by his new appearance. In his eyes men should look rough and hairy. They should grow a beard and leave their eyebrows untouched. Make-up was something they should never use. In other words, men should look manly. Everything changed when Benny received his father’s eyes. He liked the feminine features on his face Craig’s hairstylist brought out to the surface. As a matter of fact, they turned him on. He could look himself in the mirror for hours. Never did he feel that attractive before.

“You like it, don’t you,” Craig asked with a big smile on his face while his hands ran down Benny’s bald head, cheeks, neck and shoulders. “Just look at you. You’re sexy. You’re gorgeous. I’m sure that I will have a hard time to fend off all the guys who want a piece of you. But do you know what will make you totally irresistible? A few tattoos and piercings.”

Benny laughed. “No chance, buddy!”

“Oh come on,” Craig begged and gave him puppy eyes. It was the first time Benny saw him that way. He found it hard to resist a muscle hunk throwing him the same look his daughters used when they asked him to buy them some candies or a new addition to their doll collection.

“As a matter of fact, I also do piercings,” Craig’s hairstylist said.

“You do?”

“Sweetie, I’m a hairstylist.”

Benny shook his head. “Sorry, that’s a bit too much. Maybe another time.”

“How about piercing your eyebrows and tongue?”

“I said no.”

“Your nose?”

“No means no.”

“Pleeeassse,” Craig begged, again with those puppy eyes. But Benny resisted. He wanted to get used to his new face first before having another makeover.

Although Craig wasn’t very happy with Benny’s answer he understood his friend’s point. “Oh well, there will always be next time,” he sighed.

At least, Benny was ready for his special night that would change him forever – this time for real!
