Bunker beach (named by local gays) is located in Preluk, not far from Costa Bella by Rijeka. This is small and rocky beach, but in summer very popular with local gays. Not especially attractive beach.
To reach the beach take the bus number 32 from Rijeka to Opatija, exit in the center of Preluk. When you see Autocamp Preluk and Fun Academy, you know you are at the right place. Now you have to walk a little bit back, and after the big turn of the road walk down to the beach through a small tunnel.

A visitor reports that Zurkovo Beach in Kostrena (www.tzo-kostrena.hr), south of Rijeka, is more suitable and more popular among gay nude sunbathers in Rijeka area. Kostrena is a small seaside town located in close vicinity of Rijeka. Kostrena peninsula (between Kostrena and Bakar, Google map) is about 10 kilometers long, with a mild slope toward the sea coast. Along its length there are many beautiful rocky and pebbly beaches some of them suitable for nude sunbathers. Kostrena can be reached from Rijeka by public bus transportation system (2nd zone).

Medveja is located some 25km north-west of Rijeka, near Opatija (www.opatija-tourism.hr)and Moscenica (www.tz-moscenicka-draga.hr). From Rijeka take the bus number 32 and exit in Medveja.
Gay nude beach is located outside Medveja (toward Rabac town, to the south, behind the rocks) and it is usually visited by younger guys. Part of it is shingle, and other part is rocky.
It is a very small beach where there is usually about 10 people.
